Availability
I'm a grad student and an educator at a public school - so I have school vacations (including summers) off. I have great availability on weekends and after 3:30 every day.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a small house with two big dogs (one being a senior hound), which is why I don't offer care for your pets at my own home. I will utilize whatever safety plans you put in place when I care for your pet - whether you have a dog that's great in your fenced-in backyard or a flight-risk that needs to be harnessed and leashed.
Information Holly R. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to meet your dogs ahead of care bookings! If they are high needs or special needs, just give me a heads up.
A typical day
I love to run, swim, hike, bike, and walk! The midcoast is so beautiful, and I take full advantage of having such great access to public trails. I have a waist "running leash" for dogs that are well-trained, so that they have a little bungee-freedom for longer runs and walks. I'm ready for anything from lounging on the couch giving belly rubs to hiking a mountain or going for a dip in the lake.

Pet care experience
I have yet to meet someone who can out-dog-person me! Dogs are the best part of life. I have a German Shepherd and an English Pointer who face the brunt of my dog voice, personalized jingles, etc., - but out of respect for their patience I'm offering my services to other dogs! I have experience ranging from potty training new puppies to distributing meds to senior dogs and caring for them post-operation. I love to bring my dogs (and yours) on outdoor adventures in our midcoast community - hiking, swimming, lounging in the sun, and breaking out the snowshoes for winter. We'll wear each other out! I work at a public school and am a grad student, so I have lots of flexibility during the summer months and school vacations when folks tend to need travel care for their dogs.
Reviews
Holly is beyond wonderful with dogs. Our family has always had between one and three dogs, and Holly is great with their feeding schedules, medications, and exercise needs. When they've had hip problems or surgeries, she carried them up and down the stairs. When they've had dietary issues, she's made them their own dog treats. And when they look at her with an expectant look in their eyes, she doesn't hesitate to jump up and take them for a walk, hike, sprint through a field, or swim. She has always, and will always, think of dogs as being both best friends and family members– and not just our own family's dogs. Needless to say, all furry friends in Holly's presence enjoy endless spoils and belly rubs, and can't get their tails to stop wagging.
