Pet care experience

Dogs > Everything else

I have yet to meet someone who can out-dog-person me! Dogs are the best part of life. I have a German Shepherd and an English Pointer who face the brunt of my dog voice, personalized jingles, etc., - but out of respect for their patience I'm offering my services to other dogs! I have experience ranging from potty training new puppies to distributing meds to senior dogs and caring for them post-operation. I love to bring my dogs (and yours) on outdoor adventures in our midcoast community - hiking, swimming, lounging in the sun, and breaking out the snowshoes for winter. We'll wear each other out!

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

I live in a small house with two big dogs (one being a senior hound), which is why I don't offer care for your pets at my own home. I will utilize whatever safety plans you put in place when I care for your pet - whether you have a dog that's great in your fenced-in backyard or a flight-risk that needs to be harnessed and leashed.

We truly could not love Holly more. We have four dogs, three of whom have special needs so it’s a lot for anyone to take on but Holly not only managed all of their needs but went out of her way to give them extra time and affection. Our youngest pup had a rough start to life and struggles with new people but she was crawling in bed with Holly on the first day! She knew our oldest loves frisbee but when Carra wouldn’t play with her, she took her for special 1:1 walks to make sure she still got exercise and attention. Truly nobody has ever been such a hit with our pups and I only wish we could have Holly sit for us any time we need to go anywhere!

Holly is beyond wonderful with dogs. Our family has always had between one and three dogs, and Holly is great with their feeding schedules, medications, and exercise needs. When they've had hip problems or surgeries, she carried them up and down the stairs. When they've had dietary issues, she's made them their own dog treats. And when they look at her with an expectant look in their eyes, she doesn't hesitate to jump up and take them for a walk, hike, sprint through a field, or swim. She has always, and will always, think of dogs as being both best friends and family members– and not just our own family's dogs. Needless to say, all furry friends in Holly's presence enjoy endless spoils and belly rubs, and can't get their tails to stop wagging.
