Loving Your Pets Like My Own 🐾
Growing up, I’ve always had a passion for animals and have always had pets of my own. I started pet sitting around age 9, caring for my neighbor’s three dogs while she traveled for work. I helped with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and making sure they received plenty of love and attention while she was away. My love for animals has only grown over the years. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your pets, because they truly are part of the family. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual personality, routine, and needs, and I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care. TLC goes a long way! I currently have my own French Bulldog, Toast, so I know firsthand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s hands. Whether your pet loves walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I’m happy to make their stay or visit feel as close to home as possible. I look forward to meeting you and your pets 🥰 I was definitely born to pet all the dogs and cats!

I have known Holly for 3 years now, she is great with not only animals but children. I have a 2 nieces and a nephew who love her to death. Holly has helped our family by watching my cat Charlie while away on vacations and holidays. As well as my sisters German Shepherd! My cat Charlie has awful anxiety and is allergic to multiple different cat foods. Some foods don’t sit very well on his stomach, we buy a special brand of food from the vet that also has Prozac in the food to help my cats anxiety. Charlie is a very needy cat and loves his attention! Because of Charlie’s anxiety he typically doesn’t like new people. When Charlie met Holly he took some time to come around but I’ve never seen my cat more attached to someone other then my mother until she came along. My sisters German Shepherd also loves Holly! She loves to take the dog on walks and occasionally will bring the dog to her house to run around in the fenced in backyard of course that was with our permission. Hollys dog gets along great with my sisters German Shepherd. Holly will often send us videos and pictures of the animals especially when the dogs play fetch and see who can get the ball first. Holly is great with time management, problem solving, and security protocols. She always makes sure the pets are very well taken care of and that the house is secure before leaving. I have never met someone more passionate and spirited for animals and kids!

Schedule
I’m currently a college student taking online classes, which gives me a flexible schedule for boarding, house sitting, drop-ins, and walks. I recently moved to Jacksonville, NC and am currently searching for a full-time job. In the meantime, what better way to earn some extra money than doing something I genuinely love; caring for animals! I’m home often and have plenty of time for walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and lots of love and attention. 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I have a backyard for supervised playtime and a spacious neighborhood that’s great for walks. If your dog uses a crate at home, feel free to bring it and I’ll happily set it up so they can maintain their normal routine. I also encourage you to bring their favorite blanket, bed, toy, or anything with familiar smells from home so they have a cozy, familiar space where they can feel safe and comfortable. I’ll follow any specific instructions you provide and give your pet plenty of love and attention while they’re in my care.

A typical day
I always love taking my own dog to beach for walks or a swim, we enjoy a nice walk at local parks. I love playing fetch with my dog and tug of war!

- Before caring for your pet, I’d love to know a little about their personality and normal routine! Do they get along well with other dogs and new people? Are they fully potty trained, and how often do they need bathroom breaks? How many times a day are they fed? Do they have any special needs, allergies, medical conditions, or daily medications? I’d also like to know if they have any destructive behaviors, such as chewing furniture or personal belongings, or if they experience separation anxiety. Please let me know about any other behaviors, routines, or quirks that will help me provide the best care possible!
