Experienced, caring animal lover 🐾
I’ve been around animals for many years and have lots of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. I have my own cat and have also owned a much-loved dog, so I completely understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet. We’ve regularly dog-sat for friends and family over the years and know lots of dogs with very different personalities, ages and needs. I’m confident with everything from energetic dogs who love a good walk to older dogs who need a gentler pace and a little extra care. I’m comfortable following individual feeding routines, giving oral medication where needed and sticking closely to the routines and instructions owners provide. I’m equally happy popping in to feed, play with and spend time with cats, while respecting those who prefer their own space! Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and will treat every pet I look after with the same care and attention I give my own. I’m also very happy to send plenty of photos and updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and well cared for.

My animals are genuinely the love of my life. I don’t have children, so my pets are very much my family, and I completely understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in somebody else’s care. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or theirs, I’ll treat them with the same love, patience and attention I give my own. I’m very happy to follow their normal routine closely, including feeding times, walks, medication, playtime and, of course, plenty of cuddles if they want them! When caring for pets in their own home, I’m respectful of both their space and yours and will make sure they feel as comfortable and settled as possible. If they’re staying with me, I want them to feel safe, relaxed and very much part of the family. I’ll also send plenty of photos and updates because I know from experience how reassuring it is to see that your pet is happy while you’re apart.

Schedule
I work part-time and am off from Saturday through to Wednesday each week, which means I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. On these days I can be very flexible with walks, drop-in visits and spending quality time with pets throughout the day. As I’m not trying to squeeze visits around a full-time job, I can work around your pet’s usual routine and give them the time and attention they’re used to. Whether that’s a morning walk, lunchtime visit, afternoon adventure or simply some company and cuddles at home, I’m happy to be flexible around their needs.
