Safety, trust & environment

Although I will be doing mainly dog walking, if there ever is a chance I need to do a drop in visit in the future or house sitting at mine, my house is pet free and safe. I live in a quiet woodland area away from the main road, I am lucky to live on a road with most of my neighbours owning pets, so it’s a great little community. There’s plenty of green spaces and walks nearby

Information Holly M. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if there is any needs specific to your dog that I need to know of or any behavioural needs. I am really easygoing and I would love to know more about your pet and make sure they feel comfortable on walks or what requirements they have

A typical day

I would make sure your dog is loved and taken care of throughout. I want to ensure the dog is mentally stimulated and physically by going on a suitable length walk surrounded by nature (from a stroll by the lake to some fells and wainrights and breaks every now and then for some treats and water stops. A walk would definitely consist of treats, toys and possibly even some training and commands testing if the owner wanted.

Pet care experience

I’ve grown up with dogs and mainly retrievers. I have always wanted to work with animals. I studied at an animal college in the Lakes and completed a 2:1 degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare in Gloucestershire. I have experience with dog sitting and walking through caring for dogs locally via a pet care website (Borrow my Doggy) with my parents, looking after a range of breeds from terriers to Labradors. I do have brief experience with other animals such as cats (did work experience in a cattery when I was younger) and reptiles (handling/training sessions at college and University during practicals) I am a calm and reliable pet lover who will provide your dog with that comfort that they deserve. I am on Rover especially around the quieter winter months.

Holly had been looking after my beloved pup Bear for the past two years. She is amazing with him . He regularly goes for sleep overs and she looks after him when I go on holiday. Her kind, loving and patient manner means Bear adores her and really loves his stay and walks with her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for dog walks, care, training and overnight stays . She’s the best!
