As an avid runner, hiker, and water enthusiast, love to include your like-minded pets on fun adventures! I value pet mental stimulation as well as physical, and am happy to accommodate specific requests like using puzzles during stays, following unique walking routes, and practicing training reinforcement for learning pups of all ages!

I am a full-time pet caretaker with a passion for animals of every kind! I began six years ago as a dog groomer, followed by four years as a veterinary nurse, working with dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, and birds. I have since stepped away from the medical field and have been sitting full time for almost a year! With my schooling fully remote, I have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry (or scaled/feathered!) friends. I specialize in low-stress pet care, including medication administration (oral and injectable), working with rescues, dogs with reactivities, and pets with special needs. I try to make my services welcoming and accessible to everyone. I am LGBTQ+ friendly, neurodivergent and disability-friendly, and provide a judgment-free space for all pet parents. If you have any specific concerns or requests, I’m happy to accommodate them. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!

Did an absolutely fantastic job checking in on my cats for the weekend! Nutsy doesn’t trust anyone but me… and apparently Kaia! He even took his medications for Kaia in a way he never has with me. Highly recommend!
Truly the best!! Kaia delivers excellent and loving care! She is professional in every way, delivering many updates, including pertinent info and photos and leaving me relaxed on vacation, our home clean and our pets happy! Our dog and house bunny have never been better than when we get home from a trip with Kaia in charge! pets love her and so do we!!! Hire her, if you are so lucky. :)
We have Kaia come to watch our pets all the time for a quick walk or house sitting, and they love her. This was the first overnight stay we had her for and she ROCKED it! Both our dog and cat were happy campers when we got back home and she went the extra mile to help us with a couple of things around the house before she left. We can’t wait to have her back to hang out with Walter & Olin!
Kaia is amazing with our pets, sends pictures, communicates quickly and effectively, has great knowledge about animals and is clearly experienced. She also leaves our home in great shape! Best of all our dog and bunny both love her!!! We feel lucky to have such a great sitter for our fur babies! It makes traveling stress free!
