In your home, we will check beforehand if there are any areas they should stay away from or anything to keep an eye on. We’ll let your pet decide whether they want some chill time or play/attention and will never force ourselves into their space if it’s clear they want some down time. We live on a quiet road with a secure garden. The lounge/dining room is open planned so lots of space to roam, and there are no children at the property. We have a 9 month old corgi, Honey.
Information Holly K. would like to know about your pet
Please let us know if your dog has any special requirements or needs, including health-related issues. In addition, recall abilities and whether they can be off the lead - our preference is to always keep on a lead to be safe, but please let us know if you like them to have the freedom to roam. It would also be useful to know what their sleeping arrangements are (own bed, in your bed, downstairs etc).
A typical day
Throughout the day we're committed to ensure your pet is mentally stimulated and feels calm and relaxed with us, providing lots of attention and regular play. I have a garden and have plenty of areas and parks nearby to explore so will ensure we’re out and about as much as possible. On walks, I’ll ensure we both have fun :) whether that’s running around or chasing toys, with plenty of praise and reinforcement.

Pet care experience
Friendly, experienced dog lovers offering dog walking, drop-in visits & house sitting in Surrey 🐾 Hi! We're Holly and Marcus, a friendly, reliable couple based in Godalming, and we'd love to help care for your dog when you can't be there. Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives, and between us we've spent years caring for dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities. We've looked after dogs through Rover and BorrowMyDoggy, provided dog sitting for around 10 years, and volunteered with The Cinnamon Trust, supporting people who need a helping hand caring for their beloved pets. We'd also encourage you to take a look at our reviews to hear from owners we've looked after ☺️ Holly grew up with her much-loved family dog, Millie, who was by her side for an incredible 17 years, and spent weekends volunteering at a local dogs and cats home. Marcus has also grown up with family dogs and has always loved being around animals. We currently share our home with our friendly Pembroke Corgi, Honey, so we understand just how important it is to find someone you trust with your dog's care. We'd want exactly the same reassurance ourselves 🫶🏽 Whether your dog needs their daily walk, a drop-in visit while you're at work or out in the evening, or someone to stay in your home while you're away, we'll make sure they receive plenty of love, attention and care. We know every dog is different, so we're always happy to stick to their usual routine, whether that's long countryside walks, shorter sniff-filled strolls, playtime in the garden or simply keeping them company. When house sitting, we'll care for both your dog and your home as if they were our own. We'll keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can relax knowing everything is in safe hands. We know leaving your dog with someone new can feel daunting, so we're always happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand and answer any questions you may have. Unfortunately, due to allergies, we're unable to care for cats. We'd love to meet you and your dog soon!
Reviews
Holly K. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.

Holly and Marcus looked after our two Labradors, Maddie and Luna, in our home while we went away for 6 nights. Unfortunately, a few hours before we were due to leave, Maddie cut her leg during her morning walk requiring an anaesthetic and emergency stitches. Holly and Marcus took it all in their stride as we had to leave them with a very woozy Maddie. They administered her post-op medication, followed her restricted walking regime and kept us updated on her recovery throughout our time away. They also made sure Luna got two good walks a day. We are very grateful to them both for caring for Maddie and Luna while we were away, and we felt very reassured leaving them in their care, especially under the circumstances. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Holly looked after our two Labradors and our home while we were away for 6 nights. Both dogs were super pleased to see her when she arrived and we left feeling confident that they would be kept safe and happy while we were away. Holly kept us regularly updated with messages and photos. It was hugely comforting to see the dogs enjoying lovely walks and snuggles. This allowed us to completely relax and enjoy our family holiday. We returned home to two happy, relaxed dogs and an immaculate house. Holly is a very warm, friendly person who clearly loves dogs. We would not hesitate to use Holly again in the future and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Holly and Marcus took our two dogs, Maddie and Luna, for a walk to get to know them a little more before our trip away in a couple of weeks. Both dogs were very excited to see them when they arrived and were more than happy to head out for a walk with them. We are very grateful to have found Holly and Marcus and feel very comfortable leaving Maddie and Luna in their care when we go away for a few days soon.
