I’ve been involved with various animal rescue organizations for more than 30 years and have extensive experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, needs, and medical conditions. I’ve fostered many animals over the years and have helped with adoptions, medical visits, home visits, shelter assessments, and fundraising and community events. I’ve also personally rescued and cared for animals with health issues and have extensive experience with dogs who may need extra patience, understanding, or specialized care. I’m very active and love having dogs join me in the fun. I hike, bike, ski, and paddleboard, and I’m always happy to have a furry companion along for an adventure. Of course, I’m equally happy spending a quiet day at home with a dog curled up on the couch getting plenty of love and extra snuggles. My two senior dogs recently passed away, and I truly miss having dogs in my home. Caring for animals has always been a big part of my life, and I would love the opportunity to give your dog the same attention, affection, and care I’ve given my own.

Holly was a lifesaver! We had to drive down to the area very unexpectedly and didn't have time to book a housesitter as usual for Cortana, who is dog-reactive and people-shy, in addition to being a creaky senior who's very accustomed to her own home and schedule and people. She's very slow to warm up to strangers. The sudden change of scenery and multiple roadtrip stops and hotels made her very anxious about being abandoned at the Airbnb, which made it impossible for us to spend any time away and with our family as we needed. Enter Holly. She was responsive and flexible with our last-minute request, and so very understanding of Cortana's special needs. Her home was quiet and calm, and even though she was a very new acquaintance, Holly made Cortana feel comfortable enough to engage and show off some tricks for treats! We got cute pictures and video of Cortana's time there, and she was happy and relaxed when I picked her up. We're so appreciative that Holly allowed us to spend time with family without worrying about Cortana, and would not hesitate to book her again!

Holly is great with animals. She is always willing to help out on a dog walk, doggy play date or just pet company when my dog will be home alone too long!

My pets were all indoor dogs, well taken care of, and slightly spoiled. They had regular feeding, exercise, and medication schedules. I will adhere to your pet's regular schedule as much as possible.
A typical day
I am very active and like to hike, bike, ski, SUP, or long walks. I can be very active with your pets or stay and give attention to those less active.
