Pet care experience
I am an experienced dog owner having had a greyhound for 5 years. I do also have experience looking after dogs that aren't sighthounds I just have a particular affinity for the sighthound family. My greyhound was dog reactive so I am experienced with reactivity and I understand the frustrations that come with having a reactive dog. I am also well aware of the trust you need to have that your dog sitter understands your dogs needs and triggers.

I would trust Holly more than anyone with my dog. When I first rescued him at 10 months old he was an anxious mess and the responsibility was overwhelming. Holly took care of him multiple times for me and he always came back calmer. Holly has such a kind and intuitive communication style with animals and not only helped me in emergencies but demonstrated how to understand his fears and meet his needs with so much patience and care. It's been amazing to have someone so reliable, pragmatic and conscientious and it fills me with confidence in their ability to look after any pet when I've seen how responsible and patient they are with reactive and stressed out dogs, always setting them up for success and listening to their needs.
I have known Holly for over five years, and throughout that time they have shown a genuine love and natural affinity for animals. Holly has looked after my greyhound, Stella, on several occasions, and I have always felt completely confident leaving her in Holly's care. Stella has severe separation anxiety and can be anxious when away from me, but she has always felt comfortable, relaxed, and happy with Holly. It gives me great peace of mind knowing that Stella is not only well looked after, but genuinely enjoys spending time with them. Holly is kind, reliable, and highly attentive to an animal's individual needs. They always follow any care instructions carefully and take the time to make sure Stella feels settled, safe, and loved. Holly is also excellent at keeping in touch and providing updates, which is incredibly reassuring when you're away from your pet. I would wholeheartedly recommend Holly to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. Your pet will be treated as though they are part of the family and will receive all the attention, affection, and care they deserve.
