When she is out of town, she leaves detailed instructions for those caring for her own cats, so she understands that people wish for their cats to be provided for in a certain way while their owners are not there. My name is Anita Hall and Holly is my daughter in law It’s hard to write a few sentences about what makes Holly so special with animals but especially cats. When I met Holly over 30 years ago, I was raising a newborn kitten about 3 o 4 weeks old. This kitten was blind due to an infection in her eyes. She was found on the library roof of the school I work at. Her eyes were really in bad shape (she had them eventually removed) but Holly didn’t shy away or look away she saw this little one in desperate need of love and the need for someone to take good care of her. I knew right away that Holly was a special person with amazing compassion for fur babies. Recently I had major surgery, and Holly came to help me for 11 days. She also took care of my 10 cats, yes 10 cats with compassion and patience since they didn’t know her very well. Even my most stand-offish cat warmed up to her and would sit at her feet which is what he does for those he trusts. With 10 cats you can imagine there are not so great messes to clean up along with 3 litter boxes. Without a complaint she cleaned the boxes and messes without a complaint, completely understanding that with cats all the furry baggage and not so fun stuff comes with them. Holly is very knowledgeable about the different personalities that come with each cat. Friendly, shy, taking time to allow each cat to make friends on their terms. Some like brushing, their bellies rubbed or not; how they play with humans. I feel that Holly is the kind of person you are looking for that would positively represent your service.
