I cannot recommend this sitter. Holly brought a total stranger into my home without my knowledge or permission, and she also brought another dog. I never approved either. When you give someone a key to your house, that trust applies only to the person you hired—not to random people or animals they decide to bring along. This creates serious liability. If that dog or mine got hurt, if something was damaged or stolen, or if that person was injured inside my home, I could be held responsible. He was not under contract with me, had no background check through Rover, and was not authorized to be there. My home is where my children live. Handing someone a key means I’m trusting them with the most private and important space I have, along with the life of my dog. Bringing an unknown person and dog inside without asking shows a complete lack of basic judgment. She also used one of my glass dishes—the same dish I use for my own food and for my dog’s meals—to give water to her dog. On top of that, she let her dog drink out of my dog’s water bowl and eat his food. If her dog was carrying any illness, it could have been transmitted to mine. My dog has his own dishes for a reason. Using them without permission was disrespectful and showed no regard for basic hygiene or boundaries in someone else’s home. She was also unreliable with the schedule. She showed up an hour late for one visit and on other occasions simply did not show up at the agreed times. She did apologize afterward for bringing the stranger and dog. I appreciate the apology, but the decisions themselves already happened. Common sense should have stopped this before it started. Combined with the missed visits and the complete disregard for my dog’s food, water, and my household items, I cannot trust her with my dog or my house. I will not use her again and would not recommend her to anyone else.

I can always count on Holly when it comes to my dogs! Between her watching them on my long weekends away, walking them around the park, or just stopping by for a potty break while I’m at work, you can tell she really loves them, and treats them as her own. I honestly don’t know what I would do with out her! I would definitely recommend holly!
