I’ve been around and caring for dogs from a very young age through my parents’ business, Trusted Pet Careers, so looking after dogs has always been a big part of my life. From the age of 15, I began working there properly, gaining extensive experience managing dogs and understanding that every dog is different. Over the years, I’ve become extremely comfortable caring for dogs with different temperaments, routines and individual requirements. In case of emergencies I was trained in dog first aid. I’m used to following owners’ specific rules and instructions, whether that’s how their dog behaves on walks, what they can and can’t eat, their feeding schedule, or any other routines that help them feel comfortable and settled. I’m also experienced in caring for dogs with specific dietary requirements and administering prescribed medication when needed. I understand how important it is to follow an owner’s instructions carefully. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s individual personality and making sure they feel safe and happy.

I’m very experienced in working with dogs that all have their own personalities, quirks and routines. I understand how important it is to follow each owner’s individual house rules, and I’m confident in making sure those are followed consistently so your pet feels comfortable and their routine stays as normal as possible. I’m also confident when it comes to reading dogs and picking up on changes in their behaviour. I pay attention to their body language and how they’re acting, so I can recognise when something doesn’t seem quite right or when a dog might need some extra patience, reassurance, care or attention. I’m a very patient person and have experience managing all kinds of temperaments. Whether a dog is anxious or nervous, independent and likes their own space, very energetic, or a bit of a flight risk who needs extra care and awareness, I’m comfortable adapting to what each individual dog needs. Building a relationship and getting to know each dogs personality has always been my favourite part about caring for them.

Schedule
I’m currently studying Biological Sciences at university, so my dog walks and pet visits will be arranged around my lectures and lab work. Outside of my university commitments, I’m very flexible and have plenty of availability. I’m more than happy to work around your schedule and find times that suit you and your pet best for walking or drop in visits.
