Dogs are amazing! I have had dogs since before I even learned how to crawl as a baby and I love them with all my heart. I have not spent a single day of my life without the company of a dog. As such, I have decades of vast experience with many different breeds, as well as dogs of all ages, conditions (including special needs or ailing) and personalities (friendly, spunky, timid or anything in between). Friends and family have called me either "dog magnet” or “pet whisperer". I take great pride in having this reputation as I’ve developed a deep understanding of pet behavior. I have pet sat, walked and taken care of countless of dogs for friends and family. One of my friends suggested I consider Rover because it’s a natural fit and so here I am! I am a stay at home mom of two very sweet, school-age boys who love our English bulldog, Wilbur. Prior to having kids, I was pet mom to the three sweetest and loving dogs all at once. After I had my kids, I was determined my dogs would experience no change in the life they were used to, so I managed to successfully take them for outings and walks with my two children in tow every day. I feed them the best quality food I can buy, teach them fun tricks and shower them with love and affection. Dog are beautiful and pure and they bring nothing but absolute joy. I hope I get to meet you and your beloved pet(s)! We live in a very safe and walkable neighborhood with a large, fenced backyard. I love to run and walk for miles, so I can do these activities with your pet in our dog-friendly neighborhood away from busy streets. I am a playful person in general, so I like to engage and play with pets of all shapes and sizes. When they are ready for some downtime, they can relax inside my home or sunbathe outside. I am trustworthy, attentive, dependable, kind and loving to all pets. I will make sure to keep your beloved pups safe and happy, and make them feel welcome in my home! I feel fortunate to be able to help with your pet care needs – I have a home with plenty of room for your pets in a safe and accessible area, an extremely flexible schedule, a personable nature, a love of walking and fitness (I typically walk several miles a day), great work ethic and most importantly, I have an unabashed love of dogs. Dogs make the world a better place. They have seen me through the toughest times of my life and I can only hope to pay it forward. To be able to do this is a blessing.
