Canine Homestay
We lost our beloved beagle, Spot, ten years ago, and were reluctant to bring another dog into our lives. Our children are growing, and my husband is now retired (I still have a few years left), but we didn't want to make the long-term commitment of bringing another member into the family. But the truth of the matter is, we miss having a dog around... We have Kitty, who is lovely, but doesn't like to go for long walks. She's not very good at fetching, and if the truth be told, she's not much of a cuddler. We miss having a dog, and would love to share our home with yours. We can promise your pooch will get lots walking. If he's up to it, we have a runner in the house who loves company. There is an off-leash park nearby for socializing with other dogs and a 13 year old boy who'd like nothing more than to wake up to a furry friend licking his face! Ours is a quiet, residential neighbourhood with lots of doggy friends close-by. We have a large yard with space for romping and rollicking and your dog would be loved and cared for as if he were our own.

We booked Holly through Rover and had never met her. Her communication with us was excellent and very quick. She was waiting for Millie to arrive and kept in touch over the weekend. Holly is very responsible, calm and experienced with dogs. Millie had great walks and met other friends. She was very social and responsible to our dog’s needs. We found Millie very well taken care of upon our return and very happy. We would definitely recommend Holly with no hesitation.

Holly stepped in last minute for us and it couldn’t have been a better experience! She sent daily updates and pictures which were very much appreciated. Leaving your pet with someone new can be anxiety producing but she took excellent care of our dog! We wouldn’t hesitate to use her again.
Holly took fantastic care of Ollie. She sent regular updates and pictures. I felt very comfortable leaving Ollie with Holly and would recommend her to all my friends. Absolutely fantastic!
