Hollie can care for
Availability
Pet care is a consistent part of my weekly routine. I schedule regular volunteer shifts at NASAT, and outside of that, my time is flexible and dedicated to caring for dogs. I’m available for morning, and evening visits/walks, and I always make sure each dog gets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
When I’m caring for your pet in your home, their safety and comfort come first. I maintain a calm, dog-friendly environment and always follow the routines your dog is familiar with. In your home, I respect your space and follow all instructions carefully - feeding schedules, crate routines, medication, and training rules. I keep a close eye on doors, gates, and leashes to ensure your pet is always secure. I take time to understand each dog’s boundaries, triggers, and comfort level so they always feel safe and supported.
Information Hollie R. would like to know about your pet
To give your dog the best and safest care, it helps to know: - Their daily routine and preferred schedule - Any behavioural needs, triggers, or sensitivities - How they do with other dogs, people, or new environments - Medical conditions, allergies, or medications - Their favourite activities, toys, and comfort items - Commands they know (and how you prefer them to be given) The more I know, the more I can tailor my care to make them feel completely at home.
A typical day
A typical day includes plenty of fresh air, play, structure, and affection - all tailored to your dog’s personality. Depending on their needs, we might: - Go for a long walk or enjoy sniffing adventures - Practice basic training cues or mental enrichment games - Play fetch or have relaxed cuddle time - Take slow, patient walks for older or shy dogs - Stick to their normal feeding, bathroom, and rest schedule My goal is to keep your dog happy, mentally stimulated, and relaxed.

Pet care experience
I’ve had German Shepherds all my life, which has given me years of hands-on experience with active, intelligent, and strong working breeds. Recently, I began volunteering at NASAT, where I work with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. This experience has been invaluable - I’ve learned how to approach shy or anxious dogs, support reactive pups, and build trust with dogs who need extra patience or structure. Whether it’s basic training reinforcement, lots of exercise, or calm companionship, I’m confident and comfortable providing the care each dog needs to feel safe and happy. - Experience with a wide range of breeds and behaviours through my volunteer work - Comfort with large and working breeds, especially German Shepherds - Understanding of body language and fear-based behaviours - Calm, patient, and structured approach for dogs who need reassurance - Commitment to clear communication with both pets and owners - Reliable routine and consistency so dogs feel secure I treat every dog with the same care, respect, and attentiveness I give my own.

Reviews

Hollie was a pleasure to have walk my 9month GSD, he always returned home well enriched and exercised ready for a nap. She was incredibly respectful in allowing herself into the property while I was at work and was happy to provide my boy with the basic necessities before her departure. Hollie was also very accommodating in helping to arrange alternative care while she was on holiday. I will definitely be reaching out to Hollie for future pet care, and thank her greatly for providing an excellent service.
Hector enjoyed his time with Hollie and was very relaxed when we get home we will definitely rebook

We really appreciated hollie helping us out with our dog Jack. He is a nervous fella and I wasnt sure how he would get on but he clearly loved his walks! Will definitely use again!

What can I say? I REALLY wish there were more than 5 stars! Hollie and Tom are the dynamic duo of pet care! I have a lovely new rescue kitty who turned out to be feral. It has taken six week to be able to even pet her so having to leave her so early in her rehoming experience was a huge concern. Hollie and Tom to the rescue! They came twice a day and were so respectful of my home! (We don't wear shoes in our house and I could see stockinged feet in the photos. :-) I told them that Piper would hide and not come out and to just put the food down, scoop the box, and leave and that they didn't need to stay the full time. They, however, not only stayed for the full time but chatted with her, offered treats, coaxed her and actually got Piper to come out and interact with them!! Above and beyond! I recieved a text message and photos with every visit in addition to the Rover updates. I cannot recommend this lovely, caring, responsible woman and her capable, patient her side-kick enough! From the pre-meeting to the final photos and update she sent, I was beyond confident that I had made THE best choice in entrusting Piper's care to Hollie! She is now my go-to for kitty care!!
