Pet care experience

A home from home experience!

Welcome to our warm, family-friendly and dog-loving home! I offer boarding, dog walking and day care in a safe, relaxed environment where every dog is treated like one of the family. We’re a lively household with three older children (9–14) and two very friendly dogs of our own. Buddy is a therapy-registered cocker spaniel with a calm, gentle nature who absolutely loves the company of other dogs. Ernie, our Brussels Griffon puppy, is full of energy, well-socialised and always ready to play. Together, they help create a welcoming, balanced environment for dogs of all ages and temperaments. Our home is set up with dogs in mind. We have a large, fully enclosed garden for safe outdoor play and easy toilet breaks, plus access to a variety of local walks- from relaxed park strolls to longer countryside adventures. Whether your dog prefers a gentle potter or a high-energy run, I tailor walks and activity levels to suit their needs. Because I’m based at home, dogs are rarely left alone and benefit from plenty of attention, companionship and structure throughout the day. I keep routines as close to home as possible, including feeding times, exercise, rest and any specific requirements. I’m very happy to accommodate individual preferences, whether that’s separate feeding, quieter spaces for rest, or extra playtime and enrichment. I also understand that every dog is different. Some love constant interaction, while others prefer a calmer environment, and I make sure each dog feels comfortable, secure and happy during their stay. Clean, cosy spaces are always available for rest after walks, especially for those muddy, adventurous days! I am fully insured and genuinely passionate about what I do. Building trust with both dogs and their owners is incredibly important to me, and I pride myself on providing a caring, reliable and personal service. Most importantly, your dog will be welcomed into our home, included in daily life, and cared for with the same love and attention as our own 🐾

We knew Rupert would be treated like part of the family with Hollie. Rupert had a great time and I’m sure he is looking forward to seeing Hollie, Buddy & Ernie again!

Safety, trust & environment

All dogs are catered for based on their individual needs, whether this be meal requirements, feeding or sleeping separately where required and walks in line with their capability. As we have a large rear enclosed garden there is plenty of space to play and easy access for toilet breaks. Dogs have full access throughout the home and are treated as part of the family during their stay.

A typical day

I am usually up and out the door by 6.30am for the first walk of the day! Following that it’s usually a lot calmer and the dogs have great garden access. Lunchtime and tea time I go out again and do some play with the plethora of toys we have throughout the day! We have good access to both long country walks and also live close by to local parks.
