Mountain retreat in Boulder!
Hi, I'm Hollie! If your pup could design their dream vacation, it would probably look a lot like my place. I live in a cozy cabin in the mountains, just 25 minutes from Boulder and 10 minutes from Nederland, backed up to National Forest with miles and miles of trails right outside the door. Whether your dog is a seasoned trail runner or more of a leisurely sniffer, we'll find the perfect adventure (or nap spot) together. My sidekick is Chaco, the sweetest 8-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who is the best boy: calm, easygoing, and always happy to share his mom (just not with small puppies). A few things that make staying with us special: Direct National Forest access — hiking and trail running right from the cabin, no car needed Unfenced yard with tons of space — perfect for dogs with great recall who love to roam freely (leash walks always available too!) Someone home 24/7 — I work from home running my dog business, Plus the Pups, so your pup will never be left alone. Dogs are genuinely my whole life — I've built an entire business around making sure dogs are not only included in their parents' weddings, but that they have a safe, regulated nervous system to orient to in an otherwise emotionally charged environment. Whether your dog needs high-altitude adventures or cozy cabin cuddles, I've got them covered. P.S. Hollie was so great to work with and our fur baby had a great time playing with her pups. She was very accommodating in helping us out on our wedding day in Lyons so that we didn’t have to worry her care. She was willing to pick Lily up from the venue after our ceremony so that she could be a part of our special day and brought her back at the end of the night. Highly recommended!
Hollie was super accommodating and easy to work with. Our pup had a great stay and made quick friends with Chaco and Koda. Zach and Hollie were great hosts - we will be booking again with them in the future!

Our dog had a blast at Hollie and Zach's place! They are super responsive and patient. Hollie made sure I understand the property situation and asked about my preferences and Zach did a great job taking care of my pup. Their dogs are playful and the yard is perfect for dogs to run around. Will definitely book again when we are back in the area!
My dog had a great time and got along well with Hollie's other two dogs!
Left my dog Chonk with Hollie over a long weekend, they had an awesome place for him to run around on at the farm they live on, she sent me lots of updates and I could tell had a great time because he was actually tired and napped way more than usual when I got him back. They took him on hikes and swims in the creek. Having the other two dogs to play with was awesome for him! Would recommend to anyone!

I live in a cabin in the Foothills of Boulder that backs up to National Forest with miles and miles of hiking trails. I also LOVE trail running, so if you have a high energy pup that needs to burn off lots of energy, this is the place and I'm the gal. That said, if you have a pup who prefers leisurely walks, Chaco and I are out walking several times a day.

A typical day
A day in the life for Chaco and I: We walk 40 minutes in the morning and 45 minutes to an hour in the evening exploring trails in the backyard. The rest of the day is spent working from home and taking little breaks outside in the sunshine together. Chaco never runs away, so he's sometimes outside unattended as he likes to sleep on the porch, but anytime your pups are outside here, they will be fully supervised! My approach is simple: whatever your dogs need, that's what I'll give them. If they need an 8 mile trial run, I'm down. If they'd prefer to take short walks and nap in the sun, I'll bring my computer outside and hang with them. Whatever makes them the most comfortable. I truly like to keep their routine as consistent as possible.
