I have been caring for pets for more than 10 years and grew up with dogs, cats and even tortoises of my own, so animals have always been a big part of my life. More recently, I spent two years house and pet sitting full-time through TrustedHousesitters, caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels and routines. I work remotely from home and keep boarding intentionally small-scale, usually caring for dogs from just one household at a time. I am also comfortable adapting care for older dogs, including gentler or shorter walks, more frequent toilet breaks, medication schedules and plenty of quiet time to rest.
