Hi there! I’m Kerry—an accountant by profession, but a lifelong animal lover at heart. After almost 20 years in the corporate world, I’m now following my true passion: caring for animals, especially dogs! Over the past 12 years, I’ve gained hands-on experience caring for cats, dogs, and even parrots, which has taught me to understand different personalities, routines, and needs. 🐾 What Makes My Care Different Safety First – I supervise toy play closely (no unsafe chewables left unattended!) and monitor all dog interactions. On walks, I’m attentive to the environment, making sure your pup doesn’t pick up mushrooms, garbage, or sticks. Enrichment Walks – I don’t just “walk dogs”—I give them time to sniff, explore, and enjoy their surroundings. Trail walks (my specialty) combine both exercise and mental stimulation. Positive Handling – I use positive reinforcement, rewarding with Crumps Natural training treats, to make every walk safe, fun, and encouraging. Health & Well-being Monitoring – I keep a close eye on your dog’s health. If I notice anything unusual—like changes in stool, appetite, or behavior—I notify you right away. With your approval, I can also provide gentle care such as chicken & rice meals or Adored Beast’s Gut Soothe to support recovery. Personalized Attention – I plan my day around each dog’s unique needs, whether that’s active adventures, cozy cuddles, or a healthy mix of both. Daily Coat Care – For breeds prone to tangles or mats, I provide daily brushing to keep coats healthy and comfortable. Extra Wellness Touches – I go beyond the basics to keep pups comfortable and healthy. This includes gentle ear cleaning to reduce infection risk, trimming paw pads (if your dog is comfortable and you’d like me to) to prevent dirt build-up, and supporting hydration for dogs who aren’t big water drinkers. If needed, I can even prepare fresh bone broth to encourage them to stay hydrated. 🏡 Raw-friendly home: My own dog is on a raw diet, and we have a dedicated freezer to safely store and serve your pup’s meals.

Thank you so much for looking after our Indie. We understand she’s a special kind of dog with weird habits and being away from us takes some getting used to, but Kerry was great at updating me throughout with photos and videos of their time spent together.
Kerry took very good care of my cat; she was very gentle and patient with my cat who takes some time to warm up to people. She was very good with feeding my cat and clearing the litter. She sent pictures and videos every day and was always communicative with me. Thanks to her, I came back to find my cat happy and healthy.
Kerry took great care of Indie and they really looked after her and her needs. We had plenty of updates throughout the day which we really appreciated. They were patient with her as she’s a little anxious and shy at first, but it was great for her to have lovely Mochi to play with too - hopefully they’ll soon become good friends! We will ask them to look after Indie again and recommend them to all.
Kerry was incredibly reliable with her visits and maintained fantastic communication the entire time, sending frequent, detailed updates and adorable photos. My cat, who is usually shy, looked completely relaxed and happy in all the pictures, which really speaks to Kerry's gentle and patient approach. She clearly handled all the feeding, playtime, and litter duties flawlessly. If you are looking for a trustworthy, genuine, and professional cat sitter on Rover, look no further than Kerry. She's a dedicated cat lover and a total gem. We will absolutely be rebooking her in the future!
Again booked her service for my dog Nuggie. This time was a very last minute request but Kerry thankfully accepted the request. Nuggie loves Kerry so much and was really excited to walk with her when I handed off. Kerry updated the walk with pictures and videos which I appreciate! I 100% recommend Kerry for other pups walks and adventures ☺️

📚 Plenty of time & care: Both my husband and I are currently on a career break, which gives us the flexibility to plan our days entirely around your pup—walks, meals, playtime, and love. I’m also studying canine nutrition online, so your dog benefits from both our time and my growing expertise.

Daycare / Boarding / Sitting When your dog stays with me, they get more than the basics—they enjoy a structured routine designed for comfort, safety, and happiness: Morning: 30-minute neighborhood walk to start the day with exercise and fresh air Afternoon: 1–2 hour trail walk (adjusted to your dog’s energy level), with plenty of sniffing, exploring, and enrichment Evening: Relaxed downtime, cuddles, and companionship to wind down the day Night: 20-minute potty break before bedtime 🌟 Extra fun: My husband and I are very outgoing—we love taking dogs on adventures! Whether it’s hiking, exploring local trails, attending dog-friendly community events, or playing a good game of fetch, your pup will always feel included, socialized, and loved.
