I have some flexibility in my daily schedule as I currently work fully remote. I aim to walk dogs in the morning or lunch time. I do occasionally travel for work for about a few days out of the month (exclusively during the weekdays). But I always make sure to keep my calendar updated as much as I can.

When I’ve taken care of my friend’s or neighbor’s pets, it’s been for a couple of days or a week. Sometimes, I would drop by to feed them and bring them out. Or there’d be times where I’d just sit and do work at their home while occasionally taking breaks to play or socialize with their pet.

I’m all about meeting them where they’re at; whether that means letting them do their own thing and roam around and explore new spots, or playing fetch/keep away or cuddling them.

I started off as a volunteer dog walker at the Minneapolis Animal Care and Control (4 hours/month). Now, I walk dogs regularly for several families throughout the week during my mornings and lunch breaks.
