We live in a cozy apartment where dogs can play, relax, and feel right at home. While we don’t have a backyard, we make up for it with regular walks and park visits to ensure plenty of exercise and outdoor time each day. Our apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a walk-up building, so dogs should be comfortable using stairs. On Saturdays after 4 PM, I take a short subway ride to Park Slope to drop off or pick up my child from activities. During this time, dogs may need to ride in a carrier on the subway, so they should be comfortable traveling that way if needed.

Information Hiroko U. would like to know about your pet
*About Your Dog* (1) I ask that all dogs be healthy, free of contagious illnesses, and not require medication or special medical care. (2) Please tell me about your dog's personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, sleeping habits, vet information, any fears/anxieties and how they interact with other dogs, adults, and children. The more I know about your pup, the better I can help them feel safe and happy during their stay. *What to Bring* Please bring enough food, treats, waste bags, pee pads, favorite toys, blankets, and any other essentials. Since some dogs may eat or behave differently while adjusting to a new environment, I recommend packing a little extra food and supplies. For Saturday care, please provide a carrier if your dog will need to accompany me on subway or bus rides. I do not provide replacement food, treats, pee pads, or other pet supplies if they run out during a stay, so please pack accordingly. *Daycare Hours* Standard daycare starts from 8am and it is up to 8 hours. Early drop-offs, late pick-ups, and extended stays must be arranged in advance and may incur an additional fee. Pickups more than one hour past the agreed pickup time may be subject to a late-care fee. *Meet & Greet* A meet-and-greet is required before accepting new clients to ensure we're a good fit and that your dog feels comfortable. It can be arranged at Brower Park or around Grand Army Plaza.
A typical day
Our goal is for every dog to have a fun, safe, and positive stay with us. We provide plenty of walks, playtime, and lots of snuggles and attention to keep each dog happy, active, and engaged. We’re very dedicated and focus on giving each dog our full attention. We have a dog park nearby and enjoy taking dogs there for exercise and fun, along with longer walks (typically 1-2 hours a day), depending on the weather and each dog’s needs.

Two generations of luv for your dog
Pet care experience
I grew up with a beloved family dog for 14 years, and caring for her taught me responsibility, patience, and just how deeply animals enrich our lives. Now, as a mother‑and‑daughter team, we enjoy caring for dogs together. Over the years, we’ve looked after friends’ and neighbors’ dogs, giving us experience with a variety of breeds, personalities, and routines. We truly love spending quality time with every dog we meet—whether it’s going for walks in the park, playing, or simply making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
Reviews

Hiroko is such a great rover! Eddie feels safe and well and well taken care of!!!

Hiroko was amazing with mayo!! She sent us lots of pictures and updates and made us feel at ease. Mayo came back a happy girl :)

Butters seems very relaxed and content after her stay with Hiroko. She’s so sweet and we would love to book with her again!

Hiroko and her daughter were great! Their communication, care, and understanding for Rolo’s needs was reassuring. Hiroko is organized as well & I appreciated the informative daily updates. I will be using her services again in the future & highly recommend.
