Zero stars : DO NOT USE THIS PERSON! TWO DAYS INTO OUR PETS STAY, SHE SAID THAT OUR DOG NEEDS TO BE TRANSFERRED TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO CAN CARE FOR HIM. WE FULLY DISCLOSED THAT OUR DOG IS A SENIOR DOG DURING THE MEET AND GREET AND THE LEVEL OF CARE THAT WAS NEEDED. SHE SAID THAT SHE HAD EXPERIENCE WITH SENIOR DOGS AND HE WOULD BE FINE. OUR DOG ENDED UP PASSING AWAY IN HER CARE. UPON PICKUP, SHE MADE US WAIT AN HOUR AND A HALF TO GET THE REMAINING ITEMS THAT HE HAD AND DID NOT RETURN EVERYTHING WE HAD LEFT. SHE EVEN INSULTED US UPON PICKUP OF HIS ITEMS. SHE DOES NOT HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE OF HOW TO CARE FOR PETS.

Hillaury was absolutely fantastic! Our boy had a rough start to life and it hasn’t made him the easiest dog. His severe anxiety is a unique challenge. Hillaury was attentive and considerate of him and making sure his stay was as comfortable as possible. I was terrified to leave him alone as this was our first time leaving him to visit another state. She made sure that we were kept up to date with any challenges and general updates. Furthermore she took it even a step further and had several items prepared for his stay. She was patient and kind and I will be forever grateful.

Let me know if there are any special things your dog is used to and what commands they respond to - for example, to know when it's time for a potty break, to know it's time for bed, etc. Your dog will have access to the common areas of my home. I do like for your dog to be used to sleeping in their own bed and/or crate. I leave them to sleep in the living room while I sleep in my room. There are exceptions where I'll bring them to sleep in my room (on their own bed on the floor) if they need that. I do ask that you bring a crate for your dog as I like to crate them when I run an errand - like going to the grocery store, pick up/drop off my daughter. It's hard to trust them alone as dogs can be resentful for you leaving them and break the rules at times. I'll leave 2 hours at most. I prefer that your dog be trained to sleep in their own bed and/or crate and not have anxiety issues. I'm a solo mom to a 3.5 year old and value my sleep. I also prefer that your dog be trained not to get on furniture or jump on people. I've had issues with small and/or untrained dogs particularly in that they have anxiety, will not get in their bed to sleep (will cry/whimper/howl at night), will not let me carry them to take them to their bed or put them in their crate (they will try to bite me), will not come inside after being outside for potty break, etc. These are deal breakers for me. Please be honest with me about your dog.
