Pet care experience
I'm just here for the snuggles!
I have been a pet owner my entire life and the primary caregiver for all of my animals since childhood. I was raised in the country and have experience caring for animals of all sizes including fish, hamsters, gerbils, Guinea pigs, cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, cows and horses! I currently have 2 dogs, a lab mix named Wylie and a border collie mix named Buzz who are very well behaved and get along with other dogs. We live in Marfa and have a huge yard. I'm a documentary filmmaker who mostly works from home and when I'm not working I'm probably gardening or hiking with Wylie. In addition to caring for my own animals over the years, I have also been a trusted dogsitter for many friends. Wylie has been to a board and train program and I have learned a great deal from him since!

Hillary was great! I think she normally does dog sitting, but she checked in on our cats while we were out of town and did an excellent job. Very communicative with us and patient with our senior cats (and their bad habits). Thank you, Hillary!!
My partner and I highly recommend Hillary! She was very sweet and accommodating when we asked her to host our dog Ziggy for two mornings. Her dog was incredibly friendly and easygoing too, which let our small dog to get along well with her so well. Ziggy seemed to have a wonderful stay!
Hillary took in my pup at a very short notice, and provided him with a big yard and two sweet dogs to play with. Hillary was very kind and Stusso had a great time!
I'm comfortable leaving my dog with Hillary. My dog enjoys the house and yard, and is well taken care of.
Hilary provided a spacious yard and home for my dog. Her care was fabulous! I definitely would use her again!
Hilary is great! We’ve used her twice on our yearly travels through Marfa. Our dog even remembered her from the year before. Hope to see her again next year!
Calendar and availability
Schedule
I work for myself and mostly from home so my schedule is very flexible. I typically work from my home office or couch and walk my own dog a few times a day. We also have a completely fenced in yard that is safe and free of hazards. When it's hot, I limit time spent outside and make sure to provide lots of affection and enrichment.

I live in a quiet neighborhood in east Marfa and have a completely fenced back yard free of hazards. I am happy to uphold any training or care habits or preferences you are using. If you do not have any, I'll simply care for your dog as my own! We are very go-with-the-flow and have nice chill days full of fun and enrichment.

A typical day
We live in a quiet neighborhood with lots of good walk routes. I also have a large yard with tons of toys, balls, and a tree tug toy. I love to give my dog and dogs I'm watching (with pet parent approval of course) treat puzzles and do enrichment games.
