Adventures and snuggles!
As an avid animal lover, throughout my life I have gained a lot of experience caring for animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, snakes and frogs in my household and have participated in their care ever since I can remember. I interned a summer with Animal Wonders (a local animal sanctuary), where I learned about the care, training and health of all kinds of exotic pets. I have volunteered in raptor rehabilitation since I was around 8 years old and my love for animals has only grown since . Over the past few years I have pet sat for several neighbors and friends, and I’m accustomed to managing multiple pets at a time. I live an active life and love having furry friends to bring on frequent adventures running and hiking in the mountains around Missoula! I absolutely love pet sitting and getting to know new critters of all shapes and sizes!

Safety, trust & environment
I love getting pets out for frequent exercise and just spending time with them in general. I spend a lot of time with them giving them attention, and try to stay as close to possible as their normal schedule to reduce stress. Obviously every pet is different, so I try to communicate with the owner more specific do/don’ts or requests!

Hilde is amazing. She communicated really well, and even watered my plants without being asked! We will definitely have her stay with our pets again!!

Hilde has pet and house sat for us on about 10 different occasions over the past few years. We typically have 2-3 dogs, chickens and formerly a gecko and currently a hedgehog. Everyone has always been healthy and happy upon our return, and she has dealt with injured and sick animals along the way. She takes the dogs on daily adventures and they are always tired upon our return. The dogs cry with excitement when she arrives, no better indication they are well loved in our absence. Hilde has stayed with our critter crew for short weekends as well as 2+week long trips when we traveled out of the country. I have not hesitated to recommend her to friends, and they have all been happy.

Schedule
I am currently on a gap year between high school and college, so my schedule is very flexible and open. I am looking for a part time job right now, so I will update this profile if my availability changes.
