Hi! I’m Hilal Çalıkoğlu, a foundation-year Computer Science student at the University of Greenwich. Alongside my studies, I’m passionate about caring for animals and staying active, which makes dog walking a perfect fit for my lifestyle. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been a very natural part of my daily routine. My dad brought home a Rottweiler when I was born, and I spent the first 11 years of my life with him, his name was Rodi. After Rodi, our family had a Maltese Terrier, a Papillon, two high-energy Dogo Argentinos, and several cats over the years. I’ve truly been surrounded by animals from the very beginning. Walking dogs has always been a part of my lifestyle. I used to walk both of my Dogo Argentinos at the same time in Istanbul, so I’m very confident handling large, strong breeds as well as smaller dogs. I also trained my own dogs in basic obedience, which gave me solid experience with commands, structure, and safe leash behaviour. Because of my active lifestyle, I’m very comfortable providing plenty of daily exercise. long walks, play sessions, running, or whatever your dog needs to stay happy and healthy. I’m responsible, caring, and attentive, and I always treat every dog with the same love and patience I give my own. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, confident with all breeds, and genuinely passionate about dogs, I’d be more than happy to take care of your furry friend! 🐾💛

When I visit a pet in their home, I always make sure they feel safe, calm, and loved. I follow the owner’s routine carefully; feeding, walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I keep everything clean and comfortable, always respecting the pet’s space and home environment. Every visit is full of kindness, patience, and love, just like they would get from their family. 🐾💛

I am extremely pleased with the service from Hilal. She looked after our Siberian Husky in our home, always punctual and kept us updated during the day/evening. She ensured that Maya had her full meal and took her on a long walk and played with her at home due to Maya’s high energy levels. Maya was extremely calm and happy on our return. I would certainly recommend Hilal as a dog sitter and will have no hesitation in contacting her again :)

As a couple who travels often, we need someone reliable, responsible, and genuinely caring to look after our pets. Hilal has consistently been that person. Our cats love spending time with her whenever we travel abroad. She feeds them, keeps their litter clean, and plays with them, always ensuring they feel comfortable and well cared for. I can confidently say that Hilal would be an excellent dog walker or pet sitter in the UK, and any pet owner would be lucky to have her support.

Schedule
I’m available most days of the week! I have university classes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but I’m completely free on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays — from morning till evening. I’m very flexible with my hours and can easily adjust to your pet’s routine. 🐾💛
