My dog was returned with an unexplained injury. We took him to the vet immediately, where he was diagnosed with an infected open wound and an ear infection, resulting in over $600 in veterinary bills. During his stay, the sitter noticed a red mark but did not tell us until we asked about it. She apologized for not informing us sooner and for the fact that he required medical care after staying with her. She also did not offer a refund for the stay or assistance with the veterinary costs. We submitted rover Trust & Safety claim, but have not been reimbursed. Communication was positive but limited. During the first two days, we had to request updates and photos. Heydi complied when asked for updates, but usually rover sitters do this without having to be asked. After she realized we wanted daily updates, she began sending a photo or update once per day. Heydi was polite, kind and respectful in all communications.

This was the 12th time Heydi has watched Mo. He is always excited to go.
