I have been a pet owner my whole life! I have been in the veterinary field since 2018, I worked as a kennel technician in a boarding facility and a pet clinic for 2 years. I have been working from home as a pet sitter for 4 years, and have experience with all sorts of dogs different sizes, different ages and different personalities. My dog was returned with an unexplained injury. We took him to the vet immediately, where he was diagnosed with an infected open wound and an ear infection, resulting in over $600 in veterinary bills. During his stay, the sitter noticed a red mark but did not tell us until we asked about it. She apologized for not informing us sooner and for the fact that he required medical care after staying with her. She also did not offer a refund for the stay or assistance with the veterinary costs. We submitted rover Trust & Safety claim, but have not been reimbursed. Communication was positive but limited. During the first two days, we had to request updates and photos. Heydi complied when asked for updates, but usually rover sitters do this without having to be asked. After she realized we wanted daily updates, she began sending a photo or update once per day. Heydi was polite, kind and respectful in all communications.
Heydi was great with my Leo! I appreciated her accommodating me at the last minute booking when I needed to travel.
This was the 12th time Heydi has watched Mo. He is always excited to go.
Heydi was absolutely the best sitter! She was very understanding about my weekend being hectic and had a couple of hiccups with drop-off and pick-up. Coco loved being with her and she sent me pictures and kept me updated on Coco’s stay. If you’re looking for a great sitter, Heydi is your person.

Heydi was great! Unfortunately, my dog had a minor injury just before dropping him off and she took the absolute best care of him! She sent pictures and updates on how he was doing and that helped relieve some of my nerves but I will definitely be booking with her again!

Schedule
I like to keep pets routines the same as it as in their own home so they don’t bounce out of the groove, but a typical schedule in my home normally consists of : 7:00-9:00AM potty break/breakfast 10:00-12:00 walks/playtime 12:00-3:00 potty break/nap time 3:00-5:00 potty break/outdoor time 6:00-7:00 dinner time/potty break 9:00-10:00 1 last potty break. I am home FULL time and can supervise your pets majority of the day! If I ever step out pets from different home are ALWAYS separated from each other and from my pets as well.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a nice fenced backyard! I never leave dogs from different homes alone together, I am always in the middle supervising playtime. Dogs will go on potty breaks one at a time. Feeding time will be done separate as well. Overnight or if I step out pets are ALWAYS kept separate UNLESS they are comfortable with each other and do well together. I always discuss with pet owner beforehand. I have emergency contacts for pet poison and ERs in case of any emergency during their stay.

I provide individual play time, or group play time with your fur babies! I like to run around with high energy dogs and play fetch with them! I also enjoy to provide nature walks in the morning and evening. ( let me know if dog does better with individual play time or if dog aggressive )
