Most importantly, I listen to the pet owner and their instructions. For walks on our hot days, I bring a portable water bowl and water to help keep your pet cool. I am also familiar with how to help improve simple commands and leash etiquette while going on walks. I have experience with reactive, anxious, and special needs dogs and make sure to spend time building a relationship with those dogs to ensure they know they’re protected.

If your dog has any unique needs please be sure to let me know. My childhood dog, Kirk, had general anxiety and separation issues, so I’m well versed in calming doggy nerves. If there are any medications, please be sure to give me the directions in entirety to ensure your pets safety and well-being.

Your dog will have the time of their life on a walk with me! I’ll be sure to take them to an exciting place, like the busy dog park nearby, and let them sniff every scent they insist on smelling. We can go to a park and spend one-on-one time playing fetch, and as I learn to understand your pets energy levels, I’ll do my best to make sure they get an appropriate amount of exercise to keep home life calm. I let your pet set the pace and simply monitor the environment while they follow their interests.

I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 15 but have grown up loving them big and small. I first started as a dog sitter for my neighbors when they went on vacation for a week to two weeks at a time. After meeting with a new dog, I build a unique walk plan for their age and energy level to ensure they return home satisfied from our time together. **I will charge using the holiday rate if my commute is over 15 miles. I do not sleep over for any service.**
