Recently (early '24 through end of last year '25) I worked as a dog bather at PetSmart, personally doing bathing, drying, nail clipping\grinding, and some light hair trimming for dogs of all sizes. While I adored working with the dogs and the regular visitors I accrued, I just couldn't stay for the corporate pace. I watched my friends house and pets (7y/o Husky, 6y/o German Shepherd, 4y/o Husky, 2ish y/o Border Coillie mix, adult cat and teen cat) from Feb 10th-24th while they went out of country, and lived with/helped raise the 2 oldest pups as well. As far as personal pets, I found my cat at around 5, and adopted my dog at 10, growing up with them. Though even before I had pets of my own, I always had an excellent intuition with animals. So, while I am newer to dog sitting specifically, I have good experience quickly bonding with pets even in a stressful environment. I'm very much looking forward to forming deeper bonds at a relaxed pace, in a happy environment.

I have a large yard, and as pet sitting will be my main focus I can watch them while out. I also have a habit of making little blanket or pillow forts if it helps the little ones feel better. My nest is currently empty, just me and my parents, but may see fosters.

Henry is perfectly patient and dedicated to my pets' well being (both our geriatric cat and dog). I love knowing that he will be attentive and caring and I can travel out of town without worry. HIGHLY recommend Henry.
Henry was amazing with our four crazy dogs and two cats! He made sure everyone was happy and as comfortable as possible. We don’t travel a lot so our dogs were a little anxious being left but he has a very calm personality and he was able to keep their anxiety down. We have one that is not typically fond of men but she warmed right up to him! He followed all our instructions, even sitting with and hand feeding our picky eaters that sometimes need coaxing. He also worked with our youngest on some light training (such as not jumping for attention) and cleaned up before we got back! Highly recommend!
Henry has been an integral positive influence on all 4 of my pups lives/training. I cannot recommend him enough. Not only does he have lots of personal pet experience, but he also has professional experience with dogs and cats. He maintains that professionalism during all aspects of his life, which is important to me when asking to help with any of my fur-babies. I can personally say, there's not a single better person you could ask to help out with any pet needs!
