I grew up with a Bernese Mountain Dog, Mazie, who’s now 13—so I’ve seen firsthand what it takes to care for a dog at every stage of life. When she was younger, it meant long hikes, constant activity, and keeping up with a big, energetic dog. Now, it’s slower walks, patience, and paying close attention to her comfort and needs. Because of that, I’m very comfortable caring for both high-energy puppies and older dogs that need a more gentle, attentive approach. I’ve also been someone that friends and neighbors consistently trust for pet sitting and house sitting. I treat it like more than just a quick check-in—I make sure pets are exercised, engaged, and feel comfortable in their environment. I work remotely, so I’m home most of the day. That means your dog isn’t sitting around waiting for attention—I can take them out regularly, go on walks, play, or just keep them company throughout the day. I’m active myself, so if your dog loves walks, hikes, or just getting outside, I’m all for it. And if they’re more low-key, I’m just as happy keeping things calm and consistent.
