I am currently working part time at Kokanee Mountain Zipline and have been pet sitting outside of these hours during the summer. I am available to stay evenings with animals as well as drop in during mornings or afternoons for walks or visits.

Having grown up with dogs who were comfortable around people and other dogs, as well as those who were more reactive, I understand the importance of adapting to different needs. I’ve also cared for cats who crave attention and affection, as well as those who prefer their own space, and I really enjoy building trust with all kinds of animal personalities.

A typical day
I usually go for a walk or run every day, so enjoy when a dog (or dogs) would like to join me! I am happy to take dogs off leash to the park, or on lead for a short or long walk along the rail trail. I also enjoy playing with both dogs and cats in their home environments, as well as enjoy cuddling and watching a movie with them as well! I am happy to adapt to the needs of any cats or dogs and love getting to know them!

Henry was great to work with - very communicative and gave lots of updates which was very much appreciated. I felt like Bohdi was in good hands, and would absolutely work with Henry again!
Henry was great. He communicates well and was super fast to set up a meet and greet. We had him house sit for us while we were away (so our cat would have some company) and things went extremely well. We will likely reach out to him again in the future. Henry is nice, polite and easy to interact with. We definitely recommend him as a pet/house sitter.
Henry agreed to watch my 13 year old cat on short notice (less than 24hrs) and watched him for over a week. He kept super clear communication with pick up and drop off and even sent photos on how my little guy was doing throughout the week while I was away. Was super relieved to see my nervous guy was cuddling up to Henry while I was gone. He let me drop off my cats comfort items with him (sheepskin etc) to make sure he felt at home which meant a lot and kept him safe. My cat can get pretty vocal when in a new environment and henry was very chill and accepting of his little meows. Thanks Henry!!
