With 40 years of hands-on pet care experience, I bring reliability, knowledge, and a deep love for animals to every home I visit. My journey began at age 14 when I trained my Belgian Malinois Shepherd to championship levels. Since then, my passion has only grown - I now have two German Shepherds, two cats, and a leased horse. Beyond caring for my own animals, I dedicate my time to fostering rescue dogs of all ages, helping them find loving homes through reputable organizations. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I make it my mission to provide comfort, companionship, and care while you’re away. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, or extra belly rubs, I’ll treat your pets like my own. Need additional help? I’m happy to bring in mail, water plants, or even run the vacuum if needed. Leave home with peace of mind—your pets are in loving, experienced hands!

Safety, trust & environment
Before my first visit, I’ll schedule a free meet-and-greet to get acquainted with you and your pets. This allows me to understand their personalities, preferences, and any specific care instructions you have. During each visit, I’ll provide attentive care, including: ✔ Playtime & Companionship – Spending quality time with your pets through play, cuddles, and interaction to ensure they feel loved and at ease. ✔ Feeding & Hydration – Serving meals as per their usual schedule, refreshing their water, and washing out food and water bowls. ✔ Outdoor & Exercise Time – Letting them out in your yard or taking them for a walk to keep them active and stimulated. ✔ Clean-Up & Hygiene – Scooping litter boxes, refilling when needed, cleaning up pet waste from the yard or during walks. ✔ Grooming & Basic Care – Brushing coats, cleaning ears, and administering any required medication with care and patience. ✔ Additional Home Services – Bringing in mail, watering plants, or running the vacuum when needed to keep your home tidy while you’re away.

Henriette was wonderful with our 2 girls. I could tell from the first meeting that they liked her. The updates were a comfort knowing they were being fed and walked on time. I would definitely use her again.
So I asked my dogs, "Why do you love Henriette?" They respond, "She just gets us."
Our cat loves Henriette!!! She treated our boy so well, was very responsive, and even carried in our heavy package for us. We have booked with her twice and will continue reaching out as a go-to sitter!

Schedule
I've provided pet care for many years to my friends and family as well as boarded dogs in my home. My work schedule is somewhat flexible, therefore I can easily fit in any morning and late afternoon/early evening visits. I will work with you to see what schedule works best for the pets and myself.
