Experienced, mature, reliable
I grew up in the countryside with a huge menagerie, including ponies, horses, donkeys, peafowl, ducks, hens and loads of dogs, puppies, cats and kittens. I have been dog and cat sitting the last ten years since my own Cocker Spaniel died - I have a borrow my doggy dog a day a week, for the last two and a half years who is dear to my heart, and have enjoyed over 14 sits with dogs and cats through Trusted House Sitters this last year. I have 5 star reviews every time. Being with animals genuinely makes me so happy! Every dog I look after I fall in love with. Cats too... I love walking and discovering new places so why not give me a try, I promise to give your pets all the love and the attention they deserve.

I cannot recommend Henrietta highly enough. She is a completely trustworthy, unflappable person who just gets on with things. From the first time of meeting her, her calm demeanour and highly practical approach gave me total peace of mind. She has looked after my dog and cat a couple of times now and is my first port of call whenever I need a house sitter. I return to find two very happy and clearly well looked after animals, our house in perfect condition and bedding washed and hung out to dry. If you are looking for a reliable, self-motivated, and level-headed house sitter who you can truly depend on, Henrietta is exceptional.
I can strongly recommend Henrietta for any kind of pet care - including cats! Henrietta absolutely loves dogs and gives all the dogs she looks after the most fabulous time - lots of love and attention, plus long walks!! For the last few years, Henrietta has been with TrustedHousesitters dot com and has cared for probably dozens of dogs in that time - from young pups to elderly hounds! She is incredibly responsible and conscientious about both the homes she stays in and the dogs (and cats) she looks after. I know a lot of the clients have booked her numerous times - and the dogs can't wait for her to come back!
Henrietta has house and pet sat several times over the past few years for us. I would happily recommend her to anyone. She has always been reliable, trustworthy, and kept our pets happy and well cared for.

Schedule
I am flexible with hours as work part time, free some weekends and for sleepovers. I am happy to travel short distances to your home.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a garden for dogs to use and am close to the seafront for lots of walks, countryside too. I always follow owners rules about walking their dogs, am mindful of how other dogs might interact with the dogs I am looking after, and careful with roads and fast moving water. I check pets for ticks and always carry a tick remover. I interact with your pets to keep them stimulated if need be, and give tons of love! I am experienced with administering medication to animals and always make sure it has been taken! If am driving your dogs around I make sure they are secure in my camper van and use a harness to make sure they are safe.
A typical day
I like to vary my dog walks- either along the promenade or to a nearby park, or a ride into the countryside. Playing ball with them (if asked by owners), or swimming in safe places if the dogs like water. I always give treats on recall (again on owners advice).
