In addition to 13 years of professional pet-sitting experience, I have worked at a holistic pet supply store specializing in dog and cat nutrition (dry, raw, and wet food diets), enrichment and supplementation where I received over 150 hours of training and experience interacting with a wide variety of breeds. I have also volunteered at several animal shelters, working with dogs and cats of various personalities and behavioral issues. I have lived with dogs my whole life and have experience with reactive, anxious, and high-energy dogs that need extra care and trust-building. I also took care of my two senior dogs and cats before they sadly passed away (with the exception of my tank of a cat, Sarge, who is still going strong at almost 17!). So, I am comfortable providing mobility care, administering medication, and the patience needed for older fur babies. I am also experienced with puppies, including potty training, learning basic commands, cleaning up messes, crate training, and enrichment play! Being around animals and helping them live their best life is something I find a great deal of joy in and is what I practice with my own pets.
