Energetic, flexible pet-thusiast!
In addition to 13 years of professional pet-sitting experience, I have worked at a holistic pet supply store specializing in dog and cat nutrition (dry, raw, and wet food diets), enrichment and supplementation where I received over 150 hours of training and experience interacting with a wide variety of breeds. I have also volunteered at several animal shelters, working with dogs and cats of various personalities and behavioral issues. I have lived with dogs my whole life and have experience with reactive, anxious, and high-energy dogs that need extra care and trust-building. I also took care of my two senior dogs and cats before they sadly passed away. So, I am comfortable providing mobility care, administering medication, and the patience needed for older fur babies. I am also experienced with puppies, including potty training, learning basic commands, cleaning up messes, crate training, and enrichment play! Being around animals and helping them live their best life is something I find a great deal of joy in and is what I practice with my own pets. I would love to provide the same level of care to your animals as I do with mine, whether that is relaxing at home or going for a grand hiking adventure to burn off excess energy!

Safety, trust & environment
I treat your pets as I would treat my own, with respect, love, and an emphasis on proper enrichment. In my own home, I offer a fully fenced yard next to a large field and forest so there is lots of room to play and watch birds and squirrels. When outside, I am always supervising play so everyone is safe. The same goes for when inside the home, although I always allow a pet space to have time by themself if they need to decompress (although I am always available for pets or ear rubs, if they want those!). Since I have young dogs, I keep my own home fairly puppy and kitten proof, to enhance safety. If I am pet-sitting within your home, I practice respect and care whenever I am there. I like to leave it better than when I found it (perks of being a housecleaner for 10 years).

Henley is the best pet sitter you can have. I always know that my two pups are in safe, loved and well cared for. His knowledge of dogs is extensive, from nutrition to behavior/training. He takes my dogs on hikes, plays activities with them, and will even spend one on one time with each one. My pups are always excited to see him!

Schedule
I have a day job (M-F, 7-4pm) but am available after work and on weekends. When I’m not at work, I devote my time to petcare, whether it is my own or yours!

I love high-energy dogs that like to play, but am also happy with slower paced individuals.
