Your cat’s new favourite sitter 🐱
I’ve been a cat person since I was 15, when I found my first cat sitting on an outdoor cabinet at my grandmother’s house. She stayed by my side for 16 wonderful years. Since then, I think cats have decided I’m one of their people — I’ve rescued two more little girls, who are now back in Portugal. 🐱 For the past two years in Leeuwarden, I’ve been looking after friends’ cats and even my neighbours cats that come say hello everytime I work from home. Some have stayed with me, while others get daily visits for food, playtime, clean litter boxes and, of course, some good company. I love getting to know each cat’s personality, whether they’re cuddly, playful, shy… or a little bit crazy. 😸 My goal is simple: keep them happy, comfortable and loved while their humans are away.

Helena took care of my cat Milly for a week, and I couldn’t have been happier with the care she received. Milly came home very happy and clearly well looked after. Helena sent me a photo or video every day, which gave me great peace of mind and allowed me to see how Milly was doing. She was responsible, caring, and attentive throughout the week. I would definitely trust Helena to take care of Milly again when I go on holiday and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a loving pet caregiver 🩷

Schedule
I work in the marketing department of a greywater recycling company in Leeuwarden, with the flexibility to choose between working from home or the office. This allows me to be flexible with pet care and spend quality time with your cat.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in a studio, so if your cat enjoys being around people, I can welcome them into my home and keep them company throughout the day. If your cat is happier in their own space, I’m also happy to visit their home at least twice a day to feed them, clean their litter box, play and give them plenty of attention and quality time. I’ll always follow their routine and respect their personality and boundaries. And yes, I will probably spam your inbox with cute videos of us having fun. 😸
