Hi! I grew up in Oslo, Norway, in a home filled with cats, dogs, and a mum who regularly fostered animals. From a young age, I learned how important it is to care for another living being and to show empathy—values that have stayed with me ever since. I now have over 11 years of experience volunteering for an animal charity, and I’ve had both dogs and cats myself. My beloved dog Bruno passed away five years ago, and while I’m not quite ready for another dog of my own, boarding is the perfect way for me to keep animals close. It would truly be my privilege to look after your furry family members ❤️🐶🐱🐾

Helena was absolutely fantastic with Duggi and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough! 🐾❤️ From the moment she looked after him, it was clear how much she genuinely cared for him. She gave us daily updates and lovely photos, which gave us such peace of mind knowing he was happy, settled and being so well looked after. Helena truly went above and beyond. She even noticed a small tight fur matt in one of his ears that couldn’t easily be cut out and she took him to my vets for me so it could be safely removed. I was incredibly grateful that she was so observant, proactive and caring. Duggi absolutely loved his time with Helena, and it was obvious he was treated as one of her own. She was kind, attentive, trustworthy and went the extra mile in every way. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Helena look after Duggi again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our girls had another wonderful week with Helena and Jon, with lots of walkies and cuddles. We received loads of updates and amazing photos, we could see the doggies were really enjoying themselves and being well cared for. We have rebooked Helena again in September.
This was our first time using the Rover app and Helena, and wow, what an amazing experience! Every step of the way Helena has been so reassuring. She clearly has an affinity for animals and is very experienced. Our boy Ronnie is a gentle soul so Kennels weren't really an option for our week long holiday. It was the longest we'd ever left him, but we felt at comfortable throughout. Regular updates, amazing photos, such care for our boy 🥰 the only downside was we were worried he wouldn't want to come back!! 😂 Thanks so much Helena, we can tell he had the best time. And to anyone else - I can't recommend Helena enough.
Milo had yet another fantastic stay with Helena , she knows him so well and he very mich feels at home with her and Jon. Regular photos and video updates as always; such an amazing sitter, my number 1 choice every time I go away! Thank you so much xx 🥰

Schedule
I work from home for a pet food company, which means your pet will enjoy plenty of company, supervision, and cuddles throughout the day. I also never work weekends, so I’m around even more then. My partner Jon is always happy to help too—he used to have a chocolate Lab and loves dogs just as much as I do!

My Home & Setup I live with my partner Jon in a spacious three‑bedroom house with a large, secure garden—great for playtime and fresh air. We’re also close to lovely green areas, perfect for relaxed walks and exploring. What I Offer 🐾 Short and long stays 🐾 I only host one dog at a time, unless the dogs are from the same household. 🐾 Lots of human company (I’m home most of the time) 🐾 A calm, safe, loving environment 🐾 Experience with a wide range of breeds and temperaments I’d love the opportunity to care for your pet as if they were my own. What Your Pet Can Look Forward To: Long, enriching walks — whether it’s playtime in the garden or peaceful countryside/river‑side hikes (always tailored to your dog’s needs). Fun games of fetch and plenty of playtime. Socialising and meeting friendly furry pals when suitable for your dog’s temperament. Endless cuddles, affection, and belly rubs — guaranteed! 🐾💛
