Done a grooming course, but unfortunatey I don't have to tools here to groom. If you have them, I'd be happy to help. I work from home, so your pup will never be alone!

Helena took great care of Savu and was very proactive when she noticed I did not pack enough food for the whole stay. I also appreciated the constant stream of updates and picture during the stay. It gave me piece of mind everything was fine and allowed me to enjoy my holiday.

This was our first experience with DogVacay - and Helena was a perfect fit for my dog, who can be a bit high on the anxiety side. She was sweet and attentive to her and we felt comfortable leaving her there. The photo updates she sent us showed us how great Sophie was being cared, and our first night home she was her regular old puppy self (as opposed to when we had her boarded at a facility and she seemed traumatized.) I would recommend Helena - and if we need this service again, we will book with her!

Helena seemed to immediately bond with Freckles. It's obvious she loves animals. Although she lives in a condo, she regularly takes the dogs out for breaks and is home most of the time. Our dog also needs regular exercise and she took him for longer walks when it wasn't too hot.

Schedule
Perfectly. I work remotely as a translator/writer since 2006, and since 2012 for the same employer. And even working from home, I have the flexibility to schedule tasks.

I am extremely dedicated, detailed-oriented, naturally driven to ask for more input and details so that everything goes smoothly and expectations are met. Any cleaning products, medications, sharp objects are stored in tightly closed bins and I have no plants!
A typical day
First I like to spend the first 30-45 minutes interacting with the pet to figure out the things that motivate them and also stressors to avoid! From then on, it's the pet's preference that will guide our activities!
