Caring for cats is part of my daily life, not just something I do on the side. I have a flexible schedule and I’m home most of the day, so your cat will have plenty of attention, supervision, and a calm, stable environment. I only accept cats from one household at a time, which helps keep things quiet and low-stress. I’m organized, reliable, and happy to follow your cat’s normal routine — feeding schedule, playtime, medications, grooming, or simply giving them space when they need it. My goal is always to help cats feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while you’re away.

I don’t have any pets at home, and I only accept cats from one household at a time, so your cat will have a quiet, calm environment and plenty of personal attention. My home is clean, safe, and peaceful, and I do my best to help cats feel comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away. I carefully follow feeding routines, instructions, and any special needs your cat may have. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your cat is safe, cared for, and doing well. I’m also happy to do a meet & greet before your first booking so you and your cat can feel comfortable beforehand.

Cats are very different from dogs — they become attached to their environment and usually do best with a calm atmosphere and a consistent routine. I always try to make their stay as peaceful, comfortable, and low-stress as possible. Please let me know about your cat’s routine, personality, and any special needs!
A typical day
A typical day is calm, quiet, and centered around your cat’s routine and comfort. I follow feeding schedules carefully, keep a clean and peaceful environment, and make sure your cat has plenty of space to relax and feel safe. Some cats enjoy attention, playtime, and company, while others prefer a quieter approach and more personal space — I always adjust to each cat’s personality and comfort level. Since I only accept cats from one household at a time, your cat will have a low-stress environment and plenty of individual attention throughout the day. If your cat has a scheduled vet appointment while you’re away, I’m also happy to help with transportation to local vet visits within about 10–15 miles.

Cat care experience
I have over 15 years of experience caring for cats. For many years I had a Maine Coon, so I understand the needs of larger, more demanding breeds, their grooming, temperament, and personality. Before that, I also cared for a Russian Blue, which taught me how to work with more sensitive and independent cats. Because of this experience, I’m very attentive to each cat’s behavior and mood, and I know how to make them feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. I’m calm, patient, and respectful of their space — especially important for shy or older cats. While my main focus is cat care, I’m also open to helping with calm, well-behaved dogs, including walks, feeding, and basic care. I’m reliable, responsible, and treat every pet with genuine care, as if they were my own.

Helen is a loving and caring person and it shows in how she took care of our cat “Jax”. She followed all our instructions to the tee and provided “daily” pix/video of Jax, that was such a “nice touch”. Professional and sweet of her! Jax was really “on vacation” in an air b n b. Didn’t want to leave when I picked him up. There’s no doubt that we will use her again soon.
