Pet care experience
I've grown up around big and small dogs and love to spend time with them. I'm known in my family for being the dog trainer, and am diligent about keeping doggies on track with their behavior. I have pet sat for 10 years and am happy to match the energy of the dog, whether that means taking them to the dog park or just hanging around on the couch. I am a dog sitter because I'm unable to have my own furry friend at this time in my life, so getting to spend time with your dog is a very special treat!

We left before the big Portland snow storm and the power went out during the house sitting event. Helen managed just fine and took great care of our dog Kobe during all of this. We plan to have her back for our future trips away!

My living situation is not suitable for overnight stays as I live in an apartment with an unfenced courtyard. I can hang out at your house with your pet for an extended amount of time, either playing, giving pets, or just being around while I work on the computer. Whatever your safety needs are for your home, I will be happy to go above and beyond!

A typical day
I love to take dogs to the park, on long walks through the neighborhood or even on hikes. While we're at home we can play tug or throw the ball, or just hang out and cuddle!
