Comfortable holiday accommodation for your dog
I live with my husband in a lovely village not far from Romsey in Hampshire. We travel quite a lot over the winter months, but when we are at home during the summer, we enjoy having dogs come to stay for a holiday. Short stays are possible from October to March (check for availability) and longer stays from April to September. I can also occasionally offer drop-in visits and dog walks to suit. We enjoy outdoor living, especially countryside walks in our lovely Test Valley area, as well as trips to the beach, local gardens and National Trust properties. I have a couple of volunteering roles, one with a local charity and I help them out one afternoon a week. The other role I have is as a holiday cover volunteer with Hearing Dogs for Deaf People so we sometimes have young dogs in training coming to stay for the odd weekend or longer. I can be available for dog care 7 days a week. Our family home has plenty of room and we have a spacious, fully enclosed garden, which backs onto woodland. We live in a very dog-friendly neighbourhood.

Helen T. cancelled a booking 3 days before it was scheduled to begin.
Helen was a great host for 1 night to our 1 year old Spaniel who is not great with other dogs at present. He was happy to stay and enjoyed the fuss of being the only dog in the house. Helen understood that he might be a little scratchy with other dogs and was able to manage this sensibly whilst out on walks. She made us feel at ease with her calm warm personality and our pup took to her straight away. Would definitely book him to stay with Helen again.
Helen and her husband were brilliant with our very energetic 5 month old Vizsla, Barley. We would absolutely recommend them and would love them to have Barley again!

Helen, was very informative and helpful in the lead up to Odin's stay, kept us informed on our break, supplied pictures. I can honestly say that Odin absolutely enjoyed his stay and came home a very happy chap.

Schedule
I am able to fit pet care into my usual daily routine. We are both based at home so when dogs come to stay they have lots of attention. My current voluntary commitments are flexible.

Your dog/s will enjoy staying in our home and love running around our fully enclosed garden. They can sleep wherever suits - upstairs, downstairs or in a crate.
A typical day
I am flexible as to how we spend the day. We can play ball games in the garden, go for short or long walks as required, curl up and chill at home or whatever your dog needs.
