I have worked on Rover for a few months now, and do my best to be open and truthful in communication and, I am determined to take good care of whatever animals I encounter no matter what schedule I have. In the rare times Ive had to cancel a booking I make sure to tell the client weeks in advance and make sure that they can get someone to replace me. I’ve had animals my whole life, from snakes, lizards, rats, cats and dogs. I understand that it’s important to respect not only each animals space and preferences but listen to owners instructions, rereading even if I’ve pet sit for them multiple times. I’ve pet sat for dogs with severe anxiety, old dogs that poop and pee around the house. I'm fit to give dogs walks and remember to give any medication necessary and in the correct dosage. I've taken care of high and low energy and I’ve even pet sit and fed horses, a donkey and a mule. So no animal is too big or odd for me. I have experience with reptiles as well, growing up with snakes, and owning a bearded dragon myself, I know how to feed, clean and interact with them all. While taking care of animals I always respect the household, even hand cleaning dishes, sweeping or brushing a pets fur. I do my best to leave the house in the state I found in or better, leaving the clients things alone unless given permission.
