Pet care experience
Lifelong love for animals!
I have grown up with family pets including horses, fish, birds, hamsters and mostly dogs! I was a regular Borrow My Doggy walker and have provided overnight dog sitting for family and friends. Dogs I have cared for and grown up with include cairn terrier, lurcher, cockapoo, beagle, mixed breed. A year ago I rescued my first cat Willow from the RSPCA and have never looked back! She's been the best addition to our family. My main job is a registered nurse. I've been a cancer/palliative care nurse for 26 years so if you're looking for someone who is thoughtful, caring, reliable and trustworthy that's just who I am.

Safety, trust & environment
I will be guided by you and care for your pets as you would; how you manage their behaviour, walking on or off the lead, feeding, cleaning and providing love and attention. I will also respect and care for your home during drop ins and overnight stays. I have always stood by the saying, "treat others as you would want to be treated yourself".
Ratings and reviews
Helen has been a lifesaver when we needed someone to look after our Beagle Fifi. She made Fifi feel right at home and gave plenty of love, walks, and fun with the squirrels in the garden. She has a lovely home and Fifi loved the whole family.

Schedule
My availability will be mostly ad hoc on my days off and holidays. I work to a monthly rota in my main job as a registered nurse so pet drop ins, walks and sitting will fit in around this. *Message me for dates from August '26 onwards - current availability released for April, May, June and July*
