Dogs: I got my first dog when I was 15, a golden retriever named Sophie. I completely fell in love with her and she was my best friend for 14 years. She came to college with me, and was there during the most important events in my life. I've always loved and connected with dogs (sometimes better than people). I think dogs are such a valuable asset to anyone's life. I currently have a 3 year old golden retriever boy who is sweet and loves to play. I trained him myself, and I bring him around to nursing homes in the area to visit with seniors. I have experience with giving oral and topical medication, post-surgical care, and specialized diets/medical needs. I will care for your dog as if it's my own, and my dog will love having someone to play with! Cats: I've had cats my entire life. I will always have a deep love for cats and their sassy attitudes. I have 2 of my own cats (strictly indoor), and all together I've had 6 cats. I have taken care of friends and family's cats while they're away, I have experience with topical, oral, and subcutaneous medication administration, and a comprehensive understanding of cat behavior. I will take care of your cat as though it's my own, so that you can have a relaxing get-away.

Helen watched my somewhat nervous black lab, Clover, for three days at her home. I received photos of Clover every day enjoying walks and playing with Helen's beautiful dog. She was very good with Clover and put our minds at ease. I definitely recommend Helen.

My husband and I were in Newport for a wedding and wanted our puppy Wilson to stay busy and have a friend to play with. Helen was so wonderful and communicative. Wilson played all day with her sweet boy, Beau. I loved that Helen took him on an adventure for a walk on the beach too! (He has a LOT of energy). It was such peace of mind knowing he was safe and having a great time.
Helen was great! She communicated well, handled small challenges well, and our dog was happy. And this was all on relatively short notice. We would recommend Helen to anyone.
Helen, hers husband and golden retriever Bo were wonderful to my girl Scout. I will definitely use her again.

I am currently working part-time, and I have a pretty flexible schedule, so I will be able to spend a lot of time with your fur baby!

I have a fully-fenced yard with room for dogs to run around and play. I also have a 3 year old golden retriever, who's super friendly with all dogs and would love to have someone to play with!

A typical day
Depending on the weather, I like to spend time in the yard or taking walks! We live by the ocean so walks on the beach are a must! I have tons of toys your dog can choose from to play with! I also love playing with cats, I have a lot of cat toys, catnip, laser pointer etc. I’ll schedule the day around what your pet needs and wants!
