I’ve always had a deep love for animals, having grown up with a Golden Retriever, a Rhodesian Ridgeback and a cat. My experience with larger breeds has made me comfortable handling dogs of all sizes, personalities and energy levels. Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of looking after a wide range of dogs, including senior dogs, puppies, rescue dogs and everything in between. I understand that every dog is different and has their own needs, routine and personality. Some love long walks and plenty of adventure, while others prefer a slower pace, lots of cuddles and a quiet place to relax. What sets me apart is that I’m now looking after dogs full-time, on a 1:1 basis, so caring for dogs isn’t something I fit around another job. I’m able to give each dog plenty of time, attention, companionship and care.

Elora had the best day with Helen! Helen was responsive and gave lots of updates throughout the day. Elora got two long walks. She was a very happy pup at the end of the day. Would absolutely recommend Helen. I imagine Elora will be looking forward to the next walk/daycare. Thanks again 😊

Helen did a fantastic job looking after our large and rather boisterous Golden Retriever. When I picked him up he was very happy and very tired - what more could you want! Helen was easy to communicate with and made the whole process very simple.
Helen was so calm and confident with Juno. Gave me regular feedback and I felt 100% at ease whilst I was away that Juno was in amazing hands.
Pickle had a lovely time, Helen is very trustworthy and we had great communication before and after dropping Pickle off :) we would definitely recommend Helen!

I’m looking after dogs full-time and I only ever care for one dog at a time, so I can give your dog the time and attention they need throughout the day.

Having experience with puppies, senior dogs, rescue dogs and larger breeds, I know that different dogs need different approaches. I’m patient and attentive, and I’ll always make sure your dog is comfortable and supervised. I have a secure garden which they will have free run of, along with plenty of indoor space for your dog to relax and feel at home.
A typical day
Every dog is different, so I like to tailor the day around their age, personality and energy levels. For an energetic dog, this might mean a long walk up to highgate woods, plenty of playtime, exploring new surroundings and lots of stimulation throughout the day. For a puppy, it could involve shorter walks, play, training and plenty of rest. Senior dogs may prefer gentle walks, a slower pace and lots of company and cuddles.
