Safety, trust & environment
I’m fully committed to the safety of any small being in my care and the respect of your personal space, property, and boundaries. Before caring for your loved one/space let’s talk through your needs and what you need from me so I can help facilitate an easier time for you and your furry family.
Information Helen M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know what makes your pet unique and how to best care for their quirks. For example: if they have stressors or anxieties to be cognizant of, how they normally interact with other animals they meet on a walk, or any useful information about their personality and temperament. My preference is to get to know you and your pet so that you both feel safe and secure with the care I will provide.
A typical day
Enrichment is so important to a pet’s quality of life! I’ll get to know the temperament of your pet to see how they best like to spend their energy— playing games, taking a jaunt or a stroll, and ensuring they have ample affection and reassurance that they really are the best boy or girl! (Yes, they are!)

Former fosterer, lifelong dog lover
Pet care experience
I will be the only caretaker for pets on Rover; I will not be receiving assistance for care by a third party. I fostered a dog and adopted another with my siblings with the organization Mostly Mutts. Our first foster dog had experienced abuse so he required special care and attentiveness around small children (he needed a wide berth as he would become very anxious.) We cared for him until he found his forever home with a lovely couple. We fostered again but it wasn’t long before we knew we were in fact our second foster’s forever home! ❤️

Helen also cares for cats. Learn about their cat-specific care experience.
Reviews
Helen is one of the most caring, loyal, and responsible people I have ever met! I would be more than happy to leave my furry friends in her care!
I would wholeheartedly recommend Helen to be a caregiver for anyone's beloved pet. Helen has a lot of experience caring for all types animals, dogs, cats, guinea pigs etc. pet sitting/dog walking. She has taken wonderful care of my dog and cat and is super patient with notoriously crabby pets and did a great job giving our elderly cat her medication. She's the best!
Helen was awesome! Our cat is very anxious and requires a transdermal medicine and Helen was able to handle our cat really well. She was able to give proactive updates about her. She was thorough in understanding our cat's needs. We will be booking with her again for sure!
Helen is the first person I would turn to if I needed someone to care for my pet. She’s really sweet and loves every animal and cares so much about them being watched over but CARED for too!
