Young, reliable, active dog lover
We had a shared family dog at home (Freya, last picture on my profile), I took her on walks, fed her, spent time with her and kept her entertained with toys. I’m very active, I love running, walking and playing with Freya as we are both very energetic (she is a young sheep dog)! As a rule, I believe in giving dogs a proper walk and trying to take them to new areas so they can experience new smells and a different environment. I have also been doing a weekly dog sit for family friends during two years now, where I spend the whole day with their two dogs, including walks, games and nap time. Overall, I feel confident that I could spend quality time with your dog(s) and give them lots of attention. I pay careful attention to any character traits or extra requests that you have, and be a reliable, responsible carer for your pet.

In your home, there will also be long walks, ball throwing, and overall full engagement with your pet (this means taking note of all their favourite lounging spots during the day)! I will also make sure to keep the place clean and tidy (this includes cleaning all the dog/cat hairs) and operate responsibly around your home.

Nellie is a terrific person who absolutely loves dogs. All the dogs I know (especially Freya, Maisie, Skye and Flora!) consider her the ideal person to take them walking. Nellie is patient, cool-headed and sympathetic to the likes, needs and habits of our four-legged friends. Even the most energetic pooch won’t tire her out. She is physically fit, smart and has a great sense of humour. She is also respectful and well-spoken. You won’t regret employing Nellie as a dog-walker, and, just as importantly, neither will your dog!

Schedule
I’m currently on summer holidays, so I have lots of free time (so can build my schedule around pet care). During term time, this is a student job for me, however I go to a London university and my routine is still quite flexible so we will no doubt be able to find hours that work. As for now, I am available for house sitting, walks and drop in visits pretty much any day (just contact me to ask) and will always make an effort to work my schedule around pet care. I normally travel by bike so public transport isn’t an issue for me. I am available for boarding all days of the week (apart from the occasional exception) and I could fit a house visit/doggie walk into my routine any day. I’m from Clapham, so of course proximity would help, however for occasional visits I don’t mind going further afield.
