Home away from home for your dog
Pet care experience
I have owned dogs and other pets all my life. I currently have a 10 yr old chi-weenie-beagle and a medium size tripod dog who came from China and we adopted through her amazing foster mom. They both love to go on long walks, although the tripod prefers to do her walking in the comfort of a stroller! I live on acreage with a full size horse, 3 miniature horses, and a bunch of free-loading chickens that rarely supply us with eggs but have a forever home. I'm not personally a fan of dog parks and do not take my dogs there. Though if your dog likes to go there I know plenty that we can go to. We prefer to stick to trails or safe places to play and take long walks around my property multiple times a day.
Reviews
I first connected with Heidi over a year ago on very short notice. She was great right from the get go. We had a meet and greet to make sure everyone was comfortable, went over emergency contacts, and what my dog needed (food, walks, leash etc). I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with her and knew she would be looked after and happy there. I really appreciate Heidi's attention to detail and focus on the dogs!
This is the second time we have left our lab, Raven, with Heidi and we knew after the very first meet and greet that there would be no other dog sitters unless Hedi, and her family, were unable to take Raven. Our first impression upon arrival was that the property was pure paradise for a young, energetic lab. Beautiful grounds to run and sniff, lots of animals to look at and follow around and an active team of care givers to adore and fawn over her. Heidi has always been accommodating around meeting times, including flight delays and has gone above and beyond to make our life easier in the flurry of activity that is leaving on / coming home from a trip. The first time we left Raven with Heidi, October 2023, Heidi took ill but still took Raven in and we were confident she would be well cared for. We got updates and photos and could see that Raven was not the least bit concerned that we were nowhere in site. Heidi was in fine fitness for Raven's second visit and the updates were amazing. Raven was clearly having the time of her life hanging out with people who are definitely more active than we are! You know you have found the perfect place for your furry family member when they are excited to see you when you get home but whine a little bit when they realize you are leaving. We call Heidi's place Disneyland, which has since morphed into Dogsneyland. Thanks so much to you and your whole family for taking the best care of Raven! See you in September.
Our one-year-old girl spent a whole day and one night with Heidi. Heidi kept us up to date with videos and pictures. This was our first time, and it was a great experience. Heidi took great care of our pup, and we are very thankful. We recommend Heidi 100%!
Once again Heidi was incredible. Cinnamon comes home happy, healthy and tired. She loves her time and we are happy knowing Cinnamon is well taken care of.

I'm on 10 acres and the dogs never go off leash without permission. I have a large house that is completely doggy friendly. Dogs are welcome on furniture and there's also doggy beds in all rooms of the house. I also have multiple sizes of dog crates available if this is something your dog requires. I do require puppies under 1 yr to sleep in a crate at night or if I need to go out for a short time and can't watch over them.

Availability
While I do work part time, my office is extremely dog friendly, with only 2 employees including myself and no walk in clientele. I take my dogs with me to work every single day and have an office full of comfy beds and treats. Other than that you can usually find me at home, working in my barn, or out for walks and hikes with the pups.
