I've owned dogs all my life and really miss having one, and after I lost my beagle mix several years ago, I really wanted to get another dog, but my husband reminded me of our active life and the numerous trips we take. His daughter suggested I look into Rover, and I realized this is the best of both worlds! I never would have guessed I would love dog sitting as much as I do, and I have met some of the best people and pets. Haven't met a dog yet that I didn't enjoy having in my home and feel so fortunate to be able to share your pups for a few days. It's a win-win for me-plenty of time with pups, but still able to head off when we want to. Rover is the best thing to happen to me in a long time!

Heidi was absolutely fantastic! I've never left my furbabies with anyone so I was extremely nervous, but she kept me updated with pictures and texts. I will definitely be rebooking with Heidi. She put me at ease and cared for my babies like they were her own! Thanks Heidi!

After using Rover for the first time, and not knowing the process or what to expect, I would highly recommend Heidi. Heidi was professional, yet made us feel very comfortable with her from the moment we met. We loved getting the daily photos and updates from her which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Charlie loved his walks and definitely felt right at home. (Her home is very clean and tidy!) Heidi was very accommodating and patient as Charlie was not on his best behavior when it came to pottying. Heidi informed us of his accident(s) and was very gracious about it. We wouldn’t hesitate on using Heidi again…we just need to work on Charlie’s potty routine first!
Heidi was amazing with Gizmo! This was my first time using Rover, and she made the experience so easy. She sent pictures and kept me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Gizmo was well cared for, and I would absolutely book with her again. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I am a retired elementary school teacher who is now a stay home part-time granny nanny so my days are rather free. My grandson is here Wednesdays and Thursdays and every other Friday.

We have a fenced in backyard and live in a quiet neighborhood. We do what you do…if you crate your dog, we do; if you do not, neither do we.
A typical day
I live in a quiet neighborhood with lots of fabulous walking routes. I am also close to Mt. Trashmore Park which has nice walking trails and wonderful opportunities for wonderful sniffs.
