Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I currently have a very flexible schedule. I recently relocated to spend time with my boyfriend while he serves in the Air Force, and after leaving my full-time job back home, I have plenty of availability throughout the day. This allows me to give pets my full attention rather than trying to fit them into an already busy schedule. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, feeding times, play sessions, or overnight care, I can easily adjust my day to meet your pet’s needs. I understand that life can get hectic, and my goal is to make things a little easier for pet owners by providing reliable, attentive care when they need it most. You can have peace of mind knowing your pet is receiving plenty of attention, exercise, affection, and individualized care while you’re away.

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. I live in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood that is great for walks, and I have a fenced-in yard that allows dogs to safely spend time outdoors. My home is air-conditioned, which is especially important during the Texas summer months to ensure pets stay comfortable and cool. I also have reliable transportation, making it easy to accommodate pick-ups, drop-offs, or other pet-related needs if necessary. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities, including my own pets as well as those of family, friends, neighbors, and members of my community. This experience has taught me that every pet is different and deserves individualized care. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, senior and slowing down, or requires a little extra patience and attention, I will take the time to learn their routine and make them feel safe and comfortable. My goal is to provide a calm, loving environment where your pet feels at home while giving you peace of mind knowing they are being cared for as if they were my own.

My cat, Astrid, and my dog, Max, currently live with my family in New York and are not present in my Texas home. However, my boyfriend’s roommate has a 6-month-old small mixed-breed dog who occasionally shares common areas of the home. She is calm, friendly, fully vaccinated, spayed, and gets along well with other dogs. That said, your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I will always cater to each owner’s preferences regarding interactions with other animals. If you would prefer your pet to have no contact with other dogs, I can easily keep them separated. The resident dog is crate-trained, making it simple to maintain separate spaces when needed. If you’re comfortable with it, supervised interaction can also provide a great opportunity for safe socialization and play. I am happy to discuss your pet’s personality, needs, and your preferences beforehand to ensure they have the best possible experience.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of exercise, playtime, and attention tailored to each pet’s individual needs. Whether I’m providing dog walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, or daycare in my home, my goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. We can enjoy walks around my quiet neighborhood, playtime in my fenced yard, games like fetch, and lots of one-on-one attention. For pets who prefer a slower pace, I’m always happy to provide cuddles, companionship, and a calm environment. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, and I make sure to follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible. I also send regular photo updates so owners can feel confident that their pets are happy and well cared for.

I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, and caring for them has always been a natural part of my daily routine. I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who need lots of playtime, attention, and consistency, to senior dogs who require a little extra patience and care. I’ve had two senior dogs who needed medication administration, frequent bathroom breaks, transportation, and close monitoring to keep them comfortable and happy. I also currently help care for my miniature dachshund, Maxwell, who is completely blind, so I understand the importance of adapting to a dog’s individual needs and creating a safe, supportive environment. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a game of fetch, extra cuddles, a consistent feeding schedule, or simply someone to keep them company, I’m happy to provide the love, attention, and care they deserve. I know that every pet is different, and I take the time to get to know their personality and routine so they feel comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to treat every pet like family and give owners peace of mind knowing their furry friend is in caring and capable hands.
