I’ve been surrounded by animals in all different environments, ranging from working on farms in 4H, volunteering in shelters, helping with reptiles (and breeding insects for food! 🤢) and building relationships in my personal life. Through these experiences, I’ve developed proficiencies in -administering medication, -reading and adapting to body language, -developing enrichment activities, -pet grooming, and -handling multi pet households/environments Tailored, adaptive care is crucial in order to build trust and provide individualized stimulation and enrichment. My array of experience and attention to individual body language ensures I can understand each animal’s unique needs, so they can feel safe and at home with me!

Safety, trust & environment
Traveling to provide in home services allows me to care for animals in an environment they’re familiar with. Whether going for walks around the neighborhood or getting to know each other around the house, I like to operate in a setting animals are established in. I believe feelings of safety and comfort are crucial to developing our connection.

Heidi never disappoints! She handles our three large dogs flawlessly and communicates quickly when there are any challenges! Our dogs give her five gold paws! Definitely our first choice!
Heidi was very thorough in asking relevant questions prior to house sitting for our pooch. Sent some pics and was good about communicating. Flexible and overall nice person.
Meet & Greet was GREAT and expectations were high, asked for as much communication as possible due to senior dog and young dog. She confirmed she would text when she arrived. No communication until I reached out. Downhill from there. She modified our booking and walked out less than 24 hrs later leaving our dogs without a sitter and us 11+ hours away because I contacted Rover out of fear something was wrong.
Heidi was amazing! Dogs were so calm and relaxed when we got home…

Schedule
I currently work part time on a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time and energy to make sure every companion receives the attention they deserve! My schedule allows me to accept all sorts of opportunities, so reach out and we’ll see how we can best care for your animal together.
