Growing up with cats, dogs, and fish I started volunteering at an animal shelter back in middle school. As an adult I worked in a couple veterinary clinics and was a petcare associate at PetSmart for two years. This lead to my interest of rats and I raised three and love that type of pet. I currently live with a corgi, toy Aussie, and guinea pig. I was quite intrigued of living off the land when I moved to Oregon so I hand raised 6 chicks and grew my own vegetables in a green house. I love adventuring and being outside and will gladly take your dogs with. I have given my last two rats medicine in liquid form. For one of my jobs I have given a diabetic dog insulin (drawing the needles myself) and a pill twice a day for two weeks. I have also watched a dog with mega esophagus, a medical issue, which forces the dog to sit up in a chair to be fed for half a hour to use gravity to digest food. I have also watched several young litter of puppies for a week with their mom, dad, and cat siblings. I love all animals and would love to meet, cuddle, play with your pets and take them out for car rides to feel the breeze on their face! Whatever is your pet and your comfort of activity level I will gladly work out a plan with you. Note: I work full time (8 hour days). And would have to arrange jobs around that. Either over nights, later afternoon check-ins or walks. If you live near the Pine Nursery dog park I could potentially stop by on my lunch break for a check in.

I have two dogs at home who love playdates and frequently play with the dogs I pet sit. But of course only if it makes sense. I am very happy working with a pet one on one too. My dogs are crate and off leash trained and love swimming and rolling around in dirt. I have worked with animals who have been scared or don't always eat when missing their parents. I am happy to try different food ideas, adventures, play or cuddle times depending on their lifestyle. I have pet sitted older, very chill dogs and hyper younger dogs needing hikes and fetch time. My biggest point is I want the owner and the pets to be happy, comfortable and always want to discuss honestly about what works for each client/pet. I will happily give many or few picture updates. And always communicate if I notice the pet acting sick. With reimbursement I would take a pet to the vet if needed.

Heidi was wonderful taking care of both our dog Stella and our cat Felix while also keeping the house in order. We were gone for 11 days and we got updates and pictures multiple times at least every day. Couldn’t ask for a better sitter.
Heidi has watched our dogs multiple times in our home and in hers. She has provided them with excellent care. She has gone above and beyond to take them on long walks, hikes, and park trips. There is nothing better than getting home after a long trip and drive home and having your dogs be tired and calm. Heidi is excellent and I will be booking again.
Heidi was an amazing care taker for my sweet pup! She provided lots of updates and took Piper on walks and adventures. She even allowed flexibility when my schedule had to change mid trip. I will definitely be working with Heidi again!
Heidi watched my 3 pups when I went away for a weekend. My girls were happy and well-cared for, and Heidi provided me numerous photos of them all having fun! Even my nervous dog took a liking to her, which is HUGE! I would gladly have Heidi care for my pups again!
Heidi took great care of our cats and home. We would definitely have her housesit again.
Heidi is amazing and responsible. She cared for our 2 dogs 2 cats and a litter of 9 four week old puppies. She also saved our cat from the roof. We absolutely love her and will definitely be our choice in the future. We highly recommend her.

Schedule
I work full time near Pine Nursery Dog Park on the northeast side of town. My hours are Monday to Friday 7:30 to 4pm. I can do overnights on weeknights and weekends, afternoon and weekend walks, and even check-ins on my lunch break if you live close by to my work. I am happy to try my best to be flexible but probably not the best person for a puppy that needs to be let out several times a day. Also can help most easily with a dog that can hold it in or has a doggy door. But when I am at your place I am happy to be there with your pets
