I have fostered both dogs and cats in the past. From childhood to the present day, a home is not complete without some form of animal companion. I tend to be an early riser and am very flexible. Cleaning up after myself as well as your pets is my specialty. I enjoy camping and antiquing when there’s no critters to hang out with. I am familiar with many types of leash and collar. I prefer to keep a dog heeled on most of the walk, letting them run and play when it’s appropriate to do so. If you have a preferred method of control I’m happy to accommodate. I’m comfortable giving meds and have experience with all kinds of feeding. When sitting, I’d love to water your plants and get the mail-any little extras that you need.

Heidi is the absolute best! My worries fade when she goes to check in on my cat knowing he’s well taken care of!
Fur babies loved her. She was really great with communication and very chill and calm energy. Which really helped with one of my anxious girls. I appreciate her being there for our babies. First trip in 6 years cause it’s hard to find trustworthy people that understand rescues. So we hope to have Heidi sit for us again, soon.

Schedule
I often take my dad shopping or to doctor’s appointments, and set my own schedule with my other jobs. How long your pets can be left alone (if at all) is up to you!

I’m great at following orders, especially written instructions; please tell me how you usually handle your pets so I can keep it consistent for them! I like to go for walks, and like it even more if I have company. I also always enjoy a good snuggle.
A typical day
I know how important familiar routines can be when your pet is upset about you leaving. I’ll do everything I can to keep them happy and busy!
